Chapter 5 ~ night terrors

It was past midnight when Lizzie woke up from a scream beside her.

She turned over and looked at Hope at the other side of the room.

She was tossing and turning in her sleep.

Lizzie heard her mumble something like Please help me I'm so alone.

She tried to go back to sleep but Hope didn't stop screaming. So Lizzie walked over to her bed and tried to wake her up.

"Hope?", she asked softly.

"No... please... I have to... Where's Lizzie... I need her... don't...", Hope mumbled.

Lizzies eyes widened in shock. She was dreaming about her. And she missed her.

"Hope I'm here.", Lizzie said and nudged Hope's shoulder till the aubern haired girl woke up.

"Lizzie?", Hope asked quietly.

"Yeah. What happened?", the blonde asked concerned.

"I was in Malivore again and you weren't there and then I came back to school and you had a new girlfriend.", Hope said with tears in her eyes.

"I never even consired dating someone new. You have to believe me Hope. I was looking for a way to get you back all the time.", Lizzie assured her.

"Really?"

"Yes."

Hope smiled at the girl.

"Scoot over.", Lizzie said and Hope looked at her confused but did it anyway.

Lizzie laid down next to the aubern haired girl and wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Tomorrow we'll look for a way to get my memories back.", Lizzie whispered in the tribids ear and kissed her cheek. "But sleep for now."

Hope closed her eyes and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
