Lunch

Erin POV

I slowly open my eyes adjusting to the light that was coming through the window. I groan and roll over onto my other side wanting to sleep longer. I'm used to the early mornings but when I'm on holiday I want to sleep in. There was a banging on my door and I immediately knew it was Peter.

"Erin get up! Tony wants us in the kitchen to discuss things so get your sorry ass up" He shouts through the door but I just choose to ignore him.

"ERIN!" He shouts louder banging loudly on the door. I grab my pillow and use it to cover my ears.

"ERIN, ERIN, ERIN!" He continues to shout banging on my door. I throw my pillow off my ears and sit up quickly glaring at the door.

"ERIN!" He shouts again still continuing to shout my name. I eventually had enough of it and quickly got up running to the door and opening it. Peter stares at me and I glare at him.

"I'm going to kill you" I say and he immediately takes off down the hallway. I chase after him running through the hallway. Peter runs into the kitchen area and rushes behind the counter. I stop as soon as I realize everyone's eyes were on us. I look around the room before my eyes land on Yelena who was sitting on the floor with her back pressed against the wall. She looks up at me and smiles. I immediately blush and look away from her gaze.

"You always wake up running down the hallway?" Nat asks me smiling before eating away at some breakfast.

"Good morning Erin, want some breakfast?" Tony says and I look at him. He pushes a plate of food on the counter towards me and I look at my brother who was eating away at his own food. I walk towards the counter and take a seat but reach over the counter and slap Peter on the back of his head.

"Owww what the hell?!" I smile and sit back down properly.

"That's for waking me up like that douche bag" I say and he glares at me.

"You look terrible by the way did you even sleep last night?" Peter asks me and I stick my middle finger up at him which causes a giggle from Yelena. I turn my head and look over at her as she smiles looking down at the floor. I smile at her before eating away at my food.

"Now that everyone is here we can get down to business" Tony says and Yelena gets off the floor and walks closer to us until she was next to me.

"Did you eat already?" I ask her quietly.

"Yeah I did" she says smiling at me.

"Alright, last night I uncovered some information about the new threat it turns out that they are planning to do a heist on the ball tomorrow night" he says.

"A ball what is this the 19th century?" Peter asks.

"Well, the people who are hosting this ball are members of high society. I've managed to get us all in for the ball but first I want Nat and Peter to go scope the place out and see what you can find, but do not get caught and do not engage if anything happens report back to me, and come right back here, do you understand?" Tony says and Peter and Nat nod their heads.

"You got it stark" Peter says.

"Wait who would be looking for or what?" Nat asks. Tony puts down something on the counter and presses a button which then projects a hologram of a fancy-looking man with dark hair and dark scary eyes.

"This is my hunch of who we are working with, Elijah Smith" Tony says and Nat nods her head.

"Alright you got it, come on Peter let's go get ready" Nat says already heading out of the kitchen area and Peter follows after her.
