Chapter 200: Midnight

Juwan noticed that many of Malik's soldiers are around tonight. He will take extra caution tonight, Malik is planning something. He quietly move inside to peek at the Prince and the Zillaran girl named Cela. He frowned at the scene in front of him.

The Zillaran seems to be upset.

"I don't understand...why you asked me to leave?"

"Please, Honorable Prince...you need to go...before...the Sultan..."

She seems to be scared of something. Faroud can't understand her sudden outburst.

"We both know Father has no memory of you."

"It's not that...please I want you to live..."

"What is going on?"

"I think she decided to betray Malik."

Juwan appeared and make Cela gasped in surprised. He is wearing Ghabal soldier uniform but he is not Ghabalian.

"It's alright. He is here to protect me."

"You..."

"I'm here to help you if you decided to be on our side...do you know what Malik is planning tonight?"

"I...I'm not sure...I..."

Cela seems to be lost on words.

"Why are you quarreling with each other, Prince Faroud?"

Juwan is trying to understand the cause of their bickering.

"I'm just brought her the candies to cheer her up and she...suddenly saying I need to run away before my Father came and kill me..."

Juwan look at the opened tin of candy on the table and the distressed Cela.

"What did Malik ask you to do, Miss Cela?"

"You knew my name?"

"Prince Vrag...or the man you called Okto told me about you..."

"What...?"

"We are here to help you...Prince Vrag has regained his old self. Everything will be alright...so please tell me what you know. We might be out of time. Malik's soldiers has filled the Palace. It's not a good sign."

Cela look at Juwan with widen eyes. Malik did said to her three days and he is indeed making his move.

"Master Malik...ask me...to poison the Prince with this...in three days..."

Faroud tensed when he heard the words came out from Cela's lips. She is here to kill him, that's why she become his woman?

"You...are betraying me?"

There is an anger in his voice. Cela kept quiet.

"If she really can betray you, you will be dead since beginning, Prince..." Juwan suddenly speak for her and Faroud look at him.

"For now we need to cooperate so Malik can't get us...and I think I need to get you both to a safe place."

Vrag swiftly hide in the darkness when the black uniformed soldiers pass by. This is the way to the royal family's place, but why Marley was brought here? The usual guards seems not patrolling as well. Too many of Malik's soldiers in sight and Vrag sensed something is wrong. He need to sneak in quietly.

Vrag didn't regret his decision to keep the memory of Okto still with him. He knew the way around the Ghabal Palace. He has considered to remove the memories but he think he can't run from what he has done as Okto.

He hasn't come to term with this other man inside him but he actually loathed him. Those things he did to Zils is something he can't allow. Weird jealousy that he felt to his own self is something he is not sure how to settle with but Marley advised him to accept him as Zils didn't mind him herself.
