I woke up surprisingly early.  It was pitch black but when I checked the clock it blinked 7:00.  I threw open my blinds and was blinded.  I didn’t know if Mom was up and gone yet and I hadn’t heard Jackson’s call or if Mom wasn’t gone yet and I woke up early.

I quickly ran into my closet and changed into a denim blue sundress with denim blue converse, blue sunglasses and a beanie.  I then put on a simple emerald necklace my mother had given to me when I was younger.

I then walked out to see my mom walking out of a back room.  She was wearing a short grey dress with professional shoes, a Michael Kors hand bag, and a fancy black watch.  Jackson was helping her pull on her grey overcoat.

“Hello darling!”  Mom said with a surprisingly thick accent.  She had always had some sort of a British accent, but never this strong.

“Hi mom!”  I called before scaling down the stairs.

“It’s not too late to come with me…”  She offered with a smile.

“Nah, I think I’m gonna explore.”  She tensed up a little.  Probably wondering what things I may find.  She reached out and brushed my cheek.

“Okay.  Well just be good.  I’ll be back for lunch.  We’ll eat together.”

“Well, why don’t I meet you somewhere for lunch?”  I asked.  “I mean, it’s my first time in London.  But you’ve lived here.  There must be someplace you know about that we’d both enjoy for lunch?”

“That’s a lovely idea.  Mr. Wright, would you make sure a car picks my daughter up?”  I forgot that Jackson's last name was Wright.

“Of course, Madam.”  He answered cordially.

“I’ll see you later, love.”  She said and kissed my forehead.  Jackson opened the door for her where a car was waiting.

“Bye mom!”  I called as Jackson closed the door.

“One last touch before our adventure.”  Jackson said with a smile.  He walked to a door that I hadn’t seen before.  He knocked and Mr. Roberts walked out.

“Yes Mr. Wright?”

“Ms. Jensen would like to go out.  She has asked for me to accompany her.”

“Well that’s not your job Mr. Wright.  You are a footman.  You clean, and do the heavy work in the house.”

“I know sir, I tried to explain that.”

“He did.  He tried to tell me.”  I interjected.  “But, he’s one of the youngest servants I have met so I thought that he would know all the cool teenage hangouts or sights that I would want to see, as a teenager.”
