When I woke up, I felt numb.  Thank God it was summer because I didn't want to move.  However, my wishes to stay in bed were clearly ignored when there were several knocks on my bedroom door.  No matter how many times I told them to go away, no one listened.  When the seventh person came to knock on my door I finally got up.

"Fine!  You win!  I'm up!"  I shouted to whoever was knocking this time around.  I got up and walked to my closet, choosing the most angry outfit I could.  I settled with my black skinny jeans, oversized "Punk's Not Dead Punk's Sleeping Drunk" shirt, and my combat boots.  After looking at myself in the mirror I applied some heavy eye makeup, and a really dark shade of red lipstick.  Then I put a black beanie on because my hair was greasy from not showering.

I stomped down each stair until I reached the bottom.  Then I walked to the dining room.  Mum and Mr. Roberts are already waiting for me.  When I enter, mum is reading the paper, not looking up; and Mr. Roberts is pouring the tea.

"Well, good afternoon.  I was wondering when you were going to join us."  Mum speaks, still reading.  Mr. Roberts looks up and nearly drops the tea.  I just stand there.  Mum finally looks up at me.  "Now really Olivia!  I thought we were over this."

"Far from it."  I mumble.  Mum sighs and turns her full attention to me.

"I know you're mad, and you don't know why I did it, but I hope you know deep down that it was because I love you and I was trying to protect you."  Mum starts.  What was she going on about?  "But, to make it up to you, your father and Scorpius are moving in.  Just until school starts."  Oh.  Dad.  That's right.

"Whatever."  I mumble before slamming myself in my seat.

"I'm trying, Liv.  I really am."

"I don't care anymore, mum."  I lie.  I do care, I just have other things on my mind.

"You realize that I'm magical, too; don't you?"

"Figured."

"My potions teacher, Professor Snape, he taught me a few things about getting the truth out of people..."  She threatened.  "I never intended to use it, but I still remember how to do it; if needed."

"Are you seriously considering slipping me a truth serum?  Gotta do better than that, mum."

"Oh I'm not considering, I'm making you a deal.  Either you tell me now, or you take the serum... Your choice, love."  Mum and I stared at each other.  I was looking at her with a death glare while she chose to look at me like she was working a deal at work.  There was a knock at the door and Mr. Roberts almost ran out the door to answer it.  When he returned mum finally looked away.

"Master Draco and young Master Scorpius has arrived... "  Roberts announced.

"Ah, lovely! It can be a family affair when 'Livia finally decides to let it slip."  Mum smiled before Daddy Dearest and Scorpius entered the room.

"Debbie! Looking lovely, as always."  Draco smiled warmly.

"Hello Draco."  Mum stood up.  "Hello, Scorpius."  She smiled at Scorp.  That's when it really hit me.  Scorpius probably never met mum.  He's been living with mum.  I was so busy being angry about not knowing dad, I forgot that Scorp didn't know mum.  I was being selfish.  If there was one person in the world who could understand me and all of this, it would probably be Scorp.  I mean, who knows what other crap is going on in his personal life on top of this.

"Hi, Olivia..."  Daddy Dearest acknowledged.  I grimaced a smile before standing up and walking to my room.  Scorpius followed me.

"What happened to you last night?  Where's Tyler?  I swear to Voldemort, I will kick his arse if he's touched you."

"Chill brother.  Nothing happened."

"Well where'd you disapparate to?"

"None of your beeswax.  Now that I know I can go back and forth, there's no way in hell I'm telling you my secret hideout."  We walked up the stairs.

"Can you at least tell me what happened?"

"I already told you.  Nothing happened."  I put my hand on my doorknob.

"I may have only met you, what, yesterday?  But I know that the girl who was wearing bright colors did not suddenly decide she wanted to look like the queen of death.  So I'll ask again.  What happened?"  I sighed and looked around.  I really didn't want to tell anyone; but better him than my mum.

"Fine.  But you aren't allowed to say anything."  I warned before grabbing his hand and yanking him into my room.

"Nice room."

"Yeah, yeah.  Promise you won't tell mum or Daddy Dearest?"

"I promise.  Now spill."

"So last night, after I disapparated with Tyler, we almost kissed."

"What?!  You said nothing happened!  I am going to kill him!"

"Chill out!  I said almost!  Key word is almost."  I flung my arms around to draw his attention back to me.  "Anyways, I pulled away and he looked hurt, so I apparated us back here and he disapparated as soon as I let go of him.  I didn't know why I was upset, though.  So I logged into Skype to see if my friend Carter or my boyfriend Darren were online."

"Carter...Is she hot?"

"Not the point here."

"Right, sorry.  Continue."

"Jeez, I guess magical or not, a boy is always horny."  I mumble.

"I resent that."

"Anyways.  Darren was online...."  I started to choke up.  "And he hit answer, but I don't think he meant to..."  I wasn't going to be able to finish.  "And...and....and."  Scorpius was beside me in an instant and held onto me, shielding me from the world.  I buried my face in his chest as tears started to fall.

"Shhh.  It's okay."

"It's not okay."  I sob.  I take a few shaky breaths before peeling away from him.  "Carter was there."  My voice trembles.  "And they were...um..."

"They were fucking?"  Scorp asks. I nod.  "Did he say anything?  Did she say anything?"  I shook my head.  New tears were forming.  Scorpius pulled me back to him again and held me as my body shook violently.

"I don't understand."  I cried out, but it was muffled due to my face being buried in his chest again.  "What did I do wrong?"

"Nothing, Livy.  You did absolutely nothing wrong."

"But what if I did?"  I look up at him.

"What do you mean?"

"He kept pressuring me...but I told him I wanted to wait...  Was that wrong?  Should I have let him?"  I wouldn't dare say the actual words.

"No, Liv.  He's wrong.  He's an asshole for not realizing what an amazing girl you truly are!  He's not the right one for you.  If he was, he would have waited because then it would be that much better when it happened."  We stood like that for a few more minutes.  Finally I pulled away and looked at the floor.

"Um...I got some makeup on your shirt."  He looked down at his used-to-be-white-shirt and then at me and smiled.

"It's okay.  Let's get you cleaned up;" he cracked a smile, "if you think my shirt looks a mess, you should see your face."  He teased.  I let out a small laugh and rolled my eyes.  Then he sat me on a chair and brought a warm cloth from the bathroom and started to wipe my face clean.
