I walked to my closet and pulled out a high waisted red skirt and a sheer gray blouse. I matched the blouse with a short white undershirt. Then I pulled on my white tennis shoes. I quickly did a smokey eye effect and put some classic red lipstick on. I left my hair fairly loose with just the ends pulled back into a black bow. I pulled on a few gold bracelets and rings and grabbed my black sunglasses. () I grabbed my small arm bag and wallet before walking out of my room.
I started walking down the stairs when I heard whispers.
"I don't want to."
"Why not?"
"I just don't!"
"Look, she's my sister. I don't care what happened the other night. But she's been depressed ever since. She needs a day out with friends and since she doesn't know any yet, she's going to have my friends. So get your shit together cause we're going shopping. You told her you would, too."
"Fine Scorpius. Fine. I'll go. But I'm taking Nova."
"Fine. Maybe they'll be friends or whatever."
"Shit, I hope not."
"Why not? They're both girls."
"Well Nova may tell Olivia what a screw up I am."
"Tyler. I'm saying this 'cause I love you. You. Are. A. Screw-up."
"Fuck you."
"Watch the language!" Scorpius warned. I walked around the corner to see the two boys.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Yeah. We would Apparate but we decided to go the long way. Think Jackson will let us borrow his bike?" Scorp asked.
"Why not?"
"Will you ask?" Scorp asked.
"I'll ask. He's my friend." Tyler said. I have to admit, I was relieved. After our little encounter this morning, I wasn't too thrilled to talk to him again. Tyler disappeared around the corner.
"You look pretty." Scorpius complemented.
"Thanks."
"But I wish I didn't see your belly button..." I looked down. My white tank top was more like a spaghetti strap crop top. "I mean, seriously? We're hanging out with my friends..."
"I can wear what I want, Scorp. You're not in charge of me or my body."
"Fine." He grumbled. Tyler came back around the corner with the keys dangling from his forefinger.
"Ready?"
"Yeah!" I said before walking out. I got to the bike and sat in the sidecar. The boys sat in the front of the bike. "Hurry up." They looked at eachother funny before they both rushed to the actual bike. Scorpius wins and Tyler sulks over to me and sits with me in the spacious sidecar.
As we drive away, I slide my sunglasses on my face. London flies by and I feel a familiar rush. We pull up to a large house with a black gate. A girl with long blonde hair came skipping to us wearing a black leather skirt, black and white underwire crop top, black converse, and a kitty top hat. Her eye makeup was dark and her lips were a darker red. She wore retro Lennon inspired round sunglasses and her hair was messy. (http://www.polyvore.com/meeting_nova/set?id=152170097) I felt self conscious.
"Hey boys!" She called out.
"Hop on!" Scorpius called back. She stopped in front of the bus and tilted her head like a puzzle.
