Rory's POF

They sit in the cell now. The holding cell they were put in was in the tower of London. From the car Rory got a quick glimpse of their surroundings and saw where they were. The Doctor kept protesting and attempting to throw himself from the car in a desperate attempt to get back to the TARDIS, and they ended up drugging him.

It was a small cell, about 5' by 12' in area. On either long wall there were wooden benches, which Rory was sat on. Jack sat across, and they had layed the Doctor on the bench beside Rory, his head in Rory's lap. He hadn't woken up yet. Jack was leaning back against the cement wall, eyes closed. On one end of the room, to Rory's left, was the door they had come through. It was very heavy, from the amount of effort the guards had to put into opening it, and on this side of it there were scratch marks from where people had tried to escape. The floor was covered in dirt, and the room smelled of defecation and stale urine. The other end was another cement wall was covered in tally marks, as if someone was marking the days they sat in here, and whatever hope Rory had of escape was diminished. A bit higher up on the wall was a barred window, in the shape of a half circle.

"What'll happen to us now?" Rory finally asked Jack in a somewhat quiet voice, but in the small, silent room, it was as if he had raised his voice, but not quite yelled. "I mean, they won't kill us will they?"

"I've got no idea what they're gonna do," Jack said, not opening his eyes. "But I know the Doctor, and he'll figure a way out." He opened his eyes now. "So what's going on with you and the Doctor? Are you and him...?"

"W-what? Um.... I-I don't think that-"

"You don't have to tell me, but when he looked at you, there was something different there. Something more than friendship. He cares for you, and deeply too. And I also saw a hint of jealousy when I introduced myself to you. If you ask me, those are big indicators."

Rory opened his mouth to speak, but just then the drugs wore off and the Doctor sat up like a bullet from a gun.

"Where are we!? Where's the TARDIS?! I DEMAND to be released!" The Doctor yelled, walking the length of the room and banging on the door.

"We're in the tower of London, and the TARDIS was taken away," Rory explained.

The Doctor, now panting, reached his hands up to adjust his bow tie, then held his hands out when he realized they were still in handcuffs. "The least you could do is take OFF THE HANDCUFFS!"

"You were listed under code red, so that means handcuffs," the guard at the door said in a monotonous way. The Doctor let out an striated and defeated sigh as he sat down next to Rory.

"What are we gonna do? I mean, if they kill me, I'll just come back to life, but if they ki-" Jack started but was interrupted but the sound of a struggle outside the door.

The door was pushed open and Pax walked in.

"We don't have much time. That woman took your blue box to a warehouse not far from here, we should go," she said, tossing the Doctor's screwdriver to him. He tries to catch it, but it just hits his hand and falls to the ground.

Rory bent over and grabbed his screwdriver. The Doctor had taught him at least the setting for undoing locks. He uncuffed the Doctor and handed him the device.

"We don't have much time, so we have to go quickly," Pax said in a hushed voice, as if she were in the presence of a sleeping bear. They nod and head out, turning their heads left and right, looking for guards. They didn't see any except for one, who looked at them, stopped in their tracks, and walked the other way as if there was nothing there, making no attempt to stop them.
