Deep within the Empire State Building, higher than the Heavens themselves was a mystical realm which was a relatively flat asteroid-like landmass that was suspended in space, and is surrounded by what its inhabitants call "the Abyss".

This was Olympus, one of the many God Realms among the Inner Planes, and home to the Greek and Roman God's of Myth. There were many points of interest on the celestial plane such as the Cave of Oracles and the Fountain of Eros, however in the magnificent Hall of Heroes, home to Olympus's newest resident, were two warriors sparing with elegance and ferocity.

The clashing of wooden staffs were heard to all those that were near. A man around twenty gave his opponent, a stunning women in a elegant flowing gray robes, Greek battle armor, and an helmet on her head, which is decorated with pictures of gryphons and sphinxes, quick jabs with his training weapon.

The women was holding her own remarkably well considering the man's strikes would be enough to place even the strongest of beings in the hospital. She blocked every strike before deciding to go on the offensive, she pushed back however her sparing partner was a quick thinker and immediately flipped backwards using his hand as a means to propel himself and landed gracefully on his feet just as the women's wooden staff came crashing down to what would have been defeat.

He twirled his staff around as he stared at his combat partner in amusement. 'You know Athena, I found myself saying a little prayer for you last night" he said.

"Did you Perseus? How kind" Pallas Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and Strategic Warfare said in amusement, getting back in her battle stance. Her grey eyes were analyzing her opponent, searching for any weaknesses but like all their matches, he found none.

"Yes, I prayed that Apollo would inspire you with a strategy that would end your rather long stream of defeats at my hand" Perseus Lykaios, former demigod and son of Poseidon said.

He had changed immensely from the scrawny twelve year old demigod seven years prior to his ascension into godhood. Though going through two wars, surviving Tartarus, and being apart of a nasty breakup would do that to anyone. But when mortals become gods, their entire personality changes as well and Perseus was no exception to this rule.

Gone was the sarcastic and cheerful son of Poseidon, now replaced by a hardened warrior and guardian. He took his domains very serious, war had hardened him to do so. He still joke and had fun from time to time, but in the face of battle, he was an entirely new person.

Athena studied the god, she immediately attacked this time going on the offensive. Perseus, like always, blocked her strike and returned one of his own which the goddess narrowly avoided and she gave him a quick that caused him to swiftly dodge. She wouldn't give up however and attacked relentlessly and after several more blocks, Perseus had her where he wanted her and kicked her battle stick in two causing her to change tactics.

She blocked one of Perseus's attack using both of the wooden pieces before throwing one of them, stunning him and using her foot, slammed Perseus's wooden staff on the ground and disarming him. The sharp end of the remaining staff was point at Perseus chin, a sly grin plastered on the wisdom goddess's face.

"Praise Apollo" she said

Perseus however saw an opening and grabbing Athena's ponytailed hair, he yanked it down hard catching the goddess off guard and pinned her to the ground. He rested a foot on her chest, preventing her from getting up.

He shrugged.

"Obviously I'm not praying hard enough"

Athena merely narrowed her eyes at him. "If you were not my friend......" she left that threat open ended.
