"You brought us to a spa~"

Jian Yi was beaming in excitement at the small yet luxurious building before them.

The mountain air was crisp, and the warm spring breeze kept them cool.

Jian of course had been the first one to barrel out of the car after a three hour drive up the mountain. He quickly went to touching plants, drinking the water from the fountains, eating a random berry off a bush.

Zheng grabbed him by the hem of He Tian's borrowed black shirt, not hard enough to rip but forceful enough to grab the boys attention.

Jian stares up at the other. It was just pure idiocy written all over his stupidly smooth face. Zheng decided to release him after too long of a moment.

"Don't eat crap that's wild, you idiot. You could die."

"Don't worry! All the plants in this area are not poisonous." Thinking the airy tone was He Tian, Zheng turned and snarled his lip in the direction of the voice.

"Don't encourage him—oh."

At the entrance stood a middle aged women with an oddly polite smile. That smile seemed like it'd been plastered there on her face for a decade.

Dark brown hair was tucked in a tight bun, and her small body was splayed in white scrubs. Red flower designs were sewed to decorated the sides, giving her a sense of freedom and comfort.

"Oh um, sorry. I thought you were someone else," Zheng explained with a hint of embarrassment.

His mother would have definitely scolded him for talking so improperly to an older woman.

"It's quite alright. Would you boys like to come inside? I assume your Zhan Zheng Xi, and the funny one beside you is Jian Yi?"

The once proper and apologetic expression on Zheng's face shifted to mere confusion and somewhat denial.

"Ummm—"

"Yes!" Jian Yi spoke, the excitement evident in his voice. "That would be us! How do you know us auntie?"

Before the small women could speak, He Tian had already approached the situation with his usual perky smile. His killer hands were in his jean pockets and his broad shoulders were a bit slouched. He looked strangely relaxed.

"We told her in advance that we were coming~ this place is my brothers own getaway when he has time to take off work. Sometimes I steal it for myself."

Both boys hummed in understanding.

"Wait! So we get this place to ourselves?" Jian asked. The women nodded, keeping her smile intake.

"So cool~" Both boys said in unison.

"Now then, would you like to come in? I only see two out of the three you mentioned, He Tian."

"Ahhh! Yeah, where is Mo?"

He Tian hummed as he turned his head, slightly taken aback that the redhead wasn't following behind him like he thought he would be.

"Excuse me, I'll go get him real quick. In the mean time, these guys can go on in and take a look around."

The women bowed, waiting for He Tian to walk away before straightening out again.

"Would you like to come inside?" She asked the two gawking teens.

Jian Yi smiled big. Grabbing Zheng by the ear, he followed the smiling lady inside.

"Thank you auntie, we would love that."

He Tian was headed down the road in the direction of where the car had been stationed. When he finally made it back to the SUV, he saw Brother Qiu leaning against the driver door, huffing on a smoke like routine.

Redhead was no where in sight.

"Where is he?" He Tian asked, dropping all politeness when the man seemed unbothered by Mo's disappearance.

Brother Qiu could never quite gather how that kid could shift so easily into a little devil. But, reminding himself of the relation to his boss brought back the obvious answer to his question.

He blew out a waft of smoke.

"What are you getting all frazzled for? I didn't do anything with him," Brother Qiu reassured.

"Where is he?" He Tian asked again.

Getting tired of that venomous glare, Qiu finally decided to point to the car.

"He's been looking for something. He's been quiet as a mouse. I wouldn't be surprised if he ran out the opposite end of the car and is already half way down the mountain."

"Sure~" He Tian decided to play along, shifting back to that smile he always wore.

He moved past Brother Qiu to the back side car door, not seeing anything on the inside due to the overly tinted windows.

Quickly, he popped the door open, immediately being greeted with eye candy.

"Yum."

Mo turned around with a disgusted stare and fixed himself so he wasn't giving the asshole a show.

"Ah! What the hell are you doing, pervert?" He scolded.

Just the sight of He Tian made his red brows scrunch together.

"Pervert? You were the one giving me a show little Mo~"

Mo snarled, sitting up and kicking at He Tian from inside the car. "Like hell I was! Now what the chicken dick are you doing, peeping at my ass like you're slick?"

"Me and the other two were waiting for you to come, but you never did. I'm seeing what the hold up is," He Tian explained.

Mo dialed back on the insults and groaned in annoyance.

"I lost my damn hat when your gang member of a body guard over here stomped on the breaks."

"Don't drag me into this, punk," Brother Qiu interjected.

Mo cleared his throat. "I'm looking for my hat."

"Why are getting all fussy over it? Is it important~" He Tian wondered. Mo rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"No. But it's my moms and I don't want to lose it. She bought that with her money and I'd hate to be the reason she wasted it."

He Tian scoffed, leaning against the seat now with a look of satisfaction

"You know Little Mo, you sure do turn docile when wasting money is in the picture. You must really love your paper?"

"Obviously! Moneys the only way to fucking survive, so when you get a little bit of it you gotta cherish it! You wouldn't know anything about that, you rich bastard. Now, if you aren't here to help me find my mom's hat, scram!"

He Tian frowned at the statement, annoyed by the truth. He'd had all the money in the world it seemed. Except, he felt completely and utterly empty, like he wasn't really anybody at all. If only he had gotten the chance to view the world how Mo did, perhaps he'd have as much spirit as him.

"Yeah," He Tian said with a slight tremor of his words. "I'll let you do that. I'm going to make sure the lovebirds aren't causing any problems."

"Yeah whatever."

With the last thing exchanged between them being a middle finger, He Tian closed the door, allowing Mo the space to find the missing hat. As he walked by, Brother Qiu laughed out a puff of his nicotine.

"Kids got a point, you know? So don't go pouting."

He Tian turns with his usual polite smile, sighing in the direction of Brother Qiu's smug expression.

The man shrugged and stuck the cigarette back into his mouth.

He Tian turned away from him and started in the direction of the spa once again. His smile no longer saturated his features. Now, it was just a line. A cold line.

"Make sure when he finds the hat he comes inside safely."

"Whatever you say, Brother He~"
