"Jee, if you keep on sitting upside down all the blood will flow into your head and it will explode."

I've never seen a child sit up faster than Jee did.

"Don't tell him this!" Jungkook entered the room with a frown, wet towel hanging over his head like one of those judge wigs, "Jee, don't listen to her, your head'll be fine."

The boy nodded, keeping his upright sitting position anyways, just to be safe.

Him and I were currently watching Megamind (because atleast SOMEONE here has to make sure that the child get's educated😤), waiting for Kook to join us. It's actually been a while since Jee had come over and I hate to admit that I kind of missed having this whirlwind around.

I felt a pair of large hands rest on top of my shoulders, thumbs gently massaging into my skin. A little startled I turned around, craning my head to look up at Jungkook whose attention was hefted on Jee.

His right hand wandered up my neck, absentmindedly brushing along my jaw, making goosebumps form where his fingers traced. I tried to be casual with it, trying not to squirm and to look too freaked out about the sudden touch.

Jungkook really seemed to not have any problems with this kinda stuff, casual affectionate touches coming to him as natural as breathing - if I was being honest I was glad that he kept his cool like that, because hell we don't need two anxious idiots in this household, but at the same time I was sort of jealous. Why was it that he could be so casually cute and I had to try my best not to kick him Ninja style every time he appeared behind me?

I cleared my throat, hoping to cover up my restlessness, "Wanna join us?"

He threw a glance at the TV screen - disguised Megamind and Roxanne Ritchi were having a date at the moment. Then he snorted, shoulders shaking as he tried to contain his laughter, "You're an idiot."

"Hey! That movie's a masterpiece! It breaks out of the stereotypical black-and-white thinking that is being drilled into kids by literally all other media and has genius costume design on top of that!"

Jungkook just grinned to himself menacingly, slumping down in between the small space between armrest and me, forcing me to be pressed against him on the sofa. His arms sneaked around my middle, pulling me onto his lap - away from Jee who threw his Hyung a dark glare, "Not cool, Hyung."

Jungkook reached forward - pressing me into the sofa by doing so, as if I'm a fucking rag doll- to flick the younger one's forehead, "You don't even know what's cool yet, so shut it."

"Jungkook!"

"What? You're allowed to curse in front of him but I can't say that?" He pinched my sides with an arched brow, grinning down at me.

"That's not the same." I grumbled.

He chuckled, "No?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because..." I dragged slowly.

"-because Noona is pretty when she says it." Jee helped out, earning himself a cookie.

"Can't argue with that." Jungkook whispered into my ear, making me elbow his stomach.

"Shut up."

"Hey!" He let go of me in favor of rubbing his wounded middle dramatically, other than that not really protesting much.

I'd kind of been afraid that I'd have to change if him and I ever became more than just... well, more than just roommates - that I'd have to be sweet and nice, because that's what girls are when they're dating someone, right?
