Chapter 5

Wishalena is sprinting down the hallway of Skull Nizhalgal's ship. She has her sword drawn while keeping an eye out for any of the machines. Nizhalgal's alarm sets off, knowing her presence is there. In less than a second, guards start rushing down the hallway. The doors open from a distance, leaving Skull Nizhalgal's machines spotting Wishalena. They all open fire towards Wishalena. She began using her sword to ricochet bullets. Many bounce back, hitting some robots, leaving some dropped while others moved to shoot rockets out. Wishalena took action quickly and started using her powers to her sword. She took her weapon and slammed it into the metal flooring, penetrating it as she closed her eyes. Blue energy came flowing up her blade as the roots inside were twitching from the effect. Seconds after, Wishalena opens her eyes, revealing a blue glow. She pulled her sword out and leaned forward on her tiptoes.

In a quick sweeping motion, Wishalena darted forward, making herself appear as a blur. The rockets made contact where she last kneeled and blew up. One guard machine started scanning the place she stood at last.

It picked nothing up from the smoke right away. Until a loud snapping of metal came tearing apart from beside it. The machine turned to attention quickly and saw Wishalena cut its teammate in half. He pointed his mini-gun right at her. Before it could fire, Wishalena turned and chopped the front end of the gun off, then stabbed the machine at its core. She pulled out and twisted around, slicing the robot in half from its waist. A powerful electric shock got sent out as it bounced off the walls. Wishalena dunked under the shock wave, seeing it short circuit the rest of the machines next to her. Wishalena stood there with her arms extended out, smiling. She watched them drop to the floor, one by one. Wishalena took off running down the hallway. Many security doors open, releasing more guards after Wishalena. They took off, charging down the hall where she was coming. Lights began flickering as the machines took awareness of it. They checked their radar and saw something coming swiftly. Then one robot reported on immediately. "Warning, warning, incoming projectile around 200 miles an hour." A bright blue light flickered from in the distance. Before Nizhalgal's guards could react, a blue ball came hurling around the corner. It appeared blurry while electricity flew around it.

The walls shook as the blur came flying past. The machines turned and tried to run the other way. They ended up bumping into each other as all of them attempted to regain their balance. It didn't take long until the speeding blur slammed right through the machines. Breaking holes into the chests as it came bursting out and down the hallway. Skull Nizhalgal sees this through his security cameras and slams his fist down to the table. "Send more requirements. Don't stop for nothing!" He shouted. More doors continued to open, now leaving more lethal robots coming out to fight. Sarafina, Vanessa, and Quinn are working their way out of the lower part of the ship. They hide behind a crate filled with metal. Sarafina peeked out from behind it and saw robots with yellow and orange colors. They are working to keep the ship maintained. "We have maintenance on this floor. They won't hurt us, but they will set the alarm off." Sarafina said. Quinn cracked his knuckles.

"Then let's just destroy them."

"We can't. These robots keep this ship in the air. Take them out, then everyone below us will be in trouble." She replied.

"Do you have a better plan?" Quinn asked. Vanessa peeks her head out and could see the robots walking mindlessly. She then got an idea that may help get her friends through.

"Hey, what if I shape-shifted into my Chibi form? I could distract the robots while you all make a break for the top stairs." Vanessa said. Quinn and Sarafina looked at each other for a moment, then at Vanessa.

"That could work, but what if they try to pull the alarm?" Sarafina asked.

"Why don't you all disable the alarm then?"
