Chapter 9

Wishalena, Sarafina, and Cody are heading around the left side of the room. They stand behind the cover while the cloak keeps them out of sight. Vanessa and Rosy are on the other side, kneeled behind the stairs. Joshua is sitting inside a small castle made of wood that is in stone wallpaper. He looked around slowly, watching all the people shooting at each other. It didn't take long before Anthony came rushing down and opened fire on the blue team. He forced them to back up as they headed into a corner while the rest of the red team assisted. Sarafina looked up and saw Lizzie come flying down as she opened fire on stragglers who were running into the corner still. She landed on the left, close by Wishalena and the rest. Sarafina moved close and was about to open fire until Wishalena lowered her gun down.

"Hey," Sarafina whispered.

"Not yet. Wait until the right time," Wishalena replied. Rosy and Vanessa watched the blues, trying to get out of the corner after their vests died off. It was now clear what Anthony and Lizzie do to keep on top of them. Anthony started pushing someone back into the corner.

"Get back in there! I didn't say leave!" He shouted. The skinny, long-haired dachshund moved back before he hunkers down. He sat there next to his friend, who is a Rex rabbit. She looked through her hair at Lizzie, seeing her moving people back with the help of other reds. The rabbit frowned at them, feeling like a prisoner. Wishalena saw her reaction and shook her head.

"Dude, that isn't winning. That is cheating and ruining the fun for others..." Sarafina whispered. Wishalena narrowed her eyes. She then stood up and motioned for Vanessa and Rosy to get closer to the red group. Vanessa gave a heroic look before she and Rosy headed out. Wishbone turned and looked at Sarafina and Cody.

"Cody, get close to the left side of this wall. When I give the cue, open fire on all of them," she whispered. Cody nods. He could see this means she wants the invisibility to stay on. He headed out while Wishalena looked at Sarafina. "You and I will handle Lizzie and her boyfriend. You take Lizzie. I'll handle Anthony." Wishalena said. Sarafina smiled at her command.

"Now, that's an idea I can get behind," Sarafina replied. Sarafina took off running and slid across the floor, close to Lizzie. Wishalena headed around and got close to Anthony.

"Heh, this was way easier than I thought," Lizzie said. Anthony looked at the group and noticed something off.

"Easier, yes, but now I need to ask. Where are those kids that agreed to take us on?" Anthony asked. Lizzie stopped firing and took awareness of what he was saying. She didn't see Sarafina or the rest of the group. Lizzie turned around and slowly walked past Sarafina, looking for them. Wishalena motioned for Sarafina to follow Lizzie. While she did this, Cody cracked his neck and waited for Wishalena to give the cue. But it didn't take long at all for that to happen.

"UNCLOAK AND OPEN FIRE!" Wishalena shouted. Lizzie heard the yelling and turned to attention. It was then she saw Sarafina right in front of her at gunpoint. Lizzie gasped as she got lit up with a blue laser to the chest. Seconds after, her vest shut off as her health hit zero. The rest of her team, including Anthony, got taken out, along with her. Sarafina smiled at Lizzie while holding her laser gun to her side. The rest of the red team came off, confused by Wishalena and her friends. Lizzie narrowed her eyes and returned a glare to Sarafina.

"So you think you can get by with cheating, huh?" She said. Sarafina tilted her head slightly up.

"Don't try it. You and Anthony cheated by pinning people in a corner. Last I checked, that is against the rules too." Sarafina said. Lizzie stepped over and got close to Sarafina.

"Alright, alright, I see what you're doing. Let's keep this going." Lizzie said. She looked down and saw her vest come back on. Sarafina took notice and darted for cover while Lizzie ran in another direction. Wishalena turned motioned for the group to split up. She then turned and looked at the rest of the blue team.
