From the glass window, I watch the small ice crystals falling softly onto the street. The trees and fields are blanketed in white fluff, and the pavement is draped in a serene hush. The town is flooded with snow, while angels lie on the road.

Humans, bundled in thick clothes, scattered like ink on a canvas. Their footprints linger longer on the ground while their breaths disappear like wisps of vapor in the air.

Suddenly, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee thaws the cold embrace and kisses serve as a warm escape.

"It's cold yet so pretty, isn't it?" he whispered in awe as he looked outside.

I take a look at him and smiled when I noticed that his nose and ears were all red because of the weather.

"Yeah, it is," I replied while I was still staring at him, admiring his face more than the beautiful view outside. "But somehow, it scares me."

He turned in my direction, meeting my gaze. His brows were slightly furrowed, and his face screamed confusion. "It scares you? Why?"

I stayed silent and stared at him for seconds before looking away. I could feel my insides slowly melting because of his warm gaze.

"Nothing," I answered shortly, shrugging my shoulders and chuckling a little.

I closed my eyes and savored the moment for a while, not minding his confused, persistent gaze.

It scares me knowing that I was falling for you at the same speed as how the snow falls in Winter.
