Lumapag na yung eroplano kaya nag handa na ang lahat para bumaba bago kami pumasok sa loob ng airport.

Kinuha ko na yung maleta ko sa baggage carousel na i-ne-expection pa muna ang laman bago makuha ang bagahe at naglakad na palabas. Kinuha ko muna yung cellphone ko para mag text kay Xian para ipaalam na nandito na ako sa Dallas Airport nang Texas.

Nang makalabas ako sa airport pumara agad ako sa taxi at nagpahatid sa hotel.

I thought of going here because I have a business deal with a famous half-Filipino designer and here he is based in Texas.  Because of the fashion show that was held last week, he immediately made an appointment with me.

I didn't refused. I accepted that so I will have an excuse if mother gets angry that she will see me here and if there is a chance, I would like to talk to her. I want to talk to her.

Pagkatapos kong magcheck-in ng suite dumeretso agad ako sa elevator para hanapin yung room na ibinigay sa akin na number.

I went in immediately and walked around the room before putting the clothes in a closet.  I plan to stay here for a while aside from the business deal I'm going to do. Gusto ko lang naman malaman kung kamusta na ba si Mommy.

Maybe we haven't seen each other in over two decades. Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit kaya niya akong tiisin nang ganoon katagal. And if I hadn't secretly visited her here in recent years, I wouldn't have seen her.

Nanikip ang dibdib ko sa naisip kong iyon.

I have also decided that this is where I will start investigating whoever that person is secretly bothering me. So I'll gonna stay here in a week maybe, I will not stop finding who really is the mastermind of everything that happened to me this past few months.

Kinabukasan naligo agad ako at nagbihis. Nag tagal pa muna ako sa laptop dahil may tinatapos pa doon bago tumunog yung cellphone ko. Lumiwanag naman bigla yung mukha ko kung sino iyon kaya kinuha ko agad para sagutin si Xian.

[Goodmorning there, babe.] aniya sa malalim na boses.

"Morning!" I smiled a bit excited, Oh my g... I forgot to call him last night but I'm done texting him at the airport.

[What are you doing?]

"Arranging my things before I go, you?"

[Driving, on my way home.]

He's right. Nagda-drive nga siya habang kausap ako dahil naririnig ko yung mga busina nang sasakyan sa paligid niya. Dahil yata sa traffic sa Grand Sierra ngayon marahil gabi na kaya dagsa uwian ang mga tao.

I sighed.

"Take care of driving, baka may bangga ka."

Natawa naman siya.

[Kailan ka pa naging concern sa ibang 'tao'?]

I rolled my eyes.

"Of course, ngayon lang! Alangang kahapon, di 'ba? Eh kausap mo ako ngayon."

[Remember before right? You're the one who did that such thing to them, so now you're asking me if other people might be in danger.]

I shrugged.

"People change, maybe. I mean vampire, though. Sige na bye, malelate nako sa meeting. At magpahinga ka na rin pagkauwi mo, ha?" I reminded.

[Yes, babe. I know you can do it. Bye, I love you.] aniya at binabaan na ako.
