[Ian on top (isn't fetus Zac Efron cute?)
We were about to have a performance in the fall assembly at school. It was a small musical and I had to participate because of my Drama class, there was no out in this as much as I had tried to bribe my way out of it I was stuck whether I liked it or not. I was supposed to be one of the back up dancers it was nothing big I just had one appearance and it was only a few minutes long so it worked for me, if I didn't have to be up-center in the stage under the constant spotlight I was good.
I hated being in the stage so long, especially with all those pair of eyes silently judging you, to their eyes you could never be perfect and believe me I already had enough of that, I heard that every single day in school.
"Where is my crown?" Heather yelled to a freshman that was helping out. "I told you I wanted a cute tiara not this gold plastic thing, do you even know how hideous I will look if I go out with this? Go get me what I asked you for!"
I looked at myself in the mirror; I was wearing black leggings and a black t-shirt. My blonde hair was up in two pigtails and I was trying to place the rest of my costume on.
"Boo." Ian said besides me making me jump startled. "I found you Lex."
"Good, you're here. I need you to help me with my costume." I said as I bit my lip nervously fidgeting with the outfit. "I don't like it."
"What's wrong with it?" He asked confused as he eyed me seeing no problem with it or whatsoever.
I started at myself in the mirror and tugged the shirt to the sides trying to make it bigger.
"It's too tight." I said with a whine. "It feels like a second skin."
"Afraid that people might find out you are skinny?" Ian said teasing me. "That's you're actually pretty?"
"No, I'm not." I said blushing, I hated whenever he gave me those compliments, it felt like I was a girl, well in other words I was used to being one of the boys so when I was told or seen otherwise it was extremely awkward for me. "I just prefer to wear my normal clothes."
"Your normal baggie clothes, how is that better?" Ian asked as he crooked his head to the side scratching the back of his neck. "I don't see your point Alex."
"I feel more comfortable with them." I admitted with a small smile as he looked at me puzzled. "It's better."
"Yeah, whatever Alex you're not normal." Ian said with a sigh of defeat as I put a dress that was made from a material that looked like it came from a potato sack.
Yep, indeed I was a dancing potato sack. I had official hit rock bottom.
I didn't complain even though the dress was ugly, it did cover most of my body but the material was kind of itchy.
"Are you ready?" I asked Ian. "You ready to play?"
"Yeah, my guitar is already set up. Good luck and break a leg, show them how you can dance little porn star." Ian said making me glare at him before he chuckled. "I'm kidding, you're a potato sack, just roll around or some shit, but do it with class and sass." Ian said with a wink as he left not before giving me a small hug.
Ian was so lucky he got to play the guitar with the orchestra and he was very good with it that he even taught me how to play the acoustic guitar but I liked to stick more with the electric guitar I know weird, right? I was a complete mental case as my father liked to call me. Meanwhile Ian played the acoustic guitar and some piano.
"Fat Alex, where are you?" Heather yelled as she looked for me. "Where the hell is a nerd when you need one?"
Heather was wearing a pink dress that was very fluffy, her blonde hair was curly and she had glitter designs by her eyes. Also she was wearing some bug sparkly wings; yes Heather was a fairy and the main character of our play like always. And this was our freshman year; imagine how the rest of the years were going to be.
