"You're what?" Ian said surprised as he looked at the both of us shocked, I guess that this was what he least expected Jared to say.
"I'm gay." Jared said with a simple shrug. "As in I like guys and not girls, I mean there's no other type of gay that could be applied at the moment to me."
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Heather yelled at Jared making us wince at the volume of her voice.
For the first time in my life I felt sorry for him, after all those years.
Jared stared at her sister as she angrily made her way towards him.
"What are you doing? Are you trying to make everyone hate you?" Heather said as she hit Jared in the chest with her fingers marking her words. "Have you gone insane or are you just straight up stupid?"
"Jared said that he was gay not a serial killer." I said in a low voice, unfortunately Heather was close enough to hear me. "Just chill Heather."
"Look Alex, maybe the broken leg was not enough. Keep getting in my life and I will make you regret it." Heather said threatening me. "I'll shut you up forever."
I was about to tell her that I was not scared of her when Jared spoke up.
"I'm tired of this Heather, tired of you thinking that you're the damn queen of everyone! I'm tired of all of your bullying and watching you how you step on people." Jared said as he yelled at her. "This has to stop!"
Heather gave a scoff.
"What are you going to do about it? Because as far as I'm concern as soon as this month is over you will be out of the school and off to a College in London, where nobody knows that I'm your sister." Heather said with a smirk. "I would rather die than for them to know."
"So you're embarrassed that everyone will know that Heather the most popular girl in the school has a brother that is gay, is it that bad?" Jared asked Heather as he stared at her eyes. "Is it really?"
"It's is, it proves people how pathetic you are." She said in a cold voice. "I can't believe I'm even related to you."
I stared at her shocked, how could she say that to her own brother?
I know that sometimes I would fight with Andres, real fights but in the end he was my brother and I loved him.
"Pathetic really so I am pathetic now? Well I'm embarrassed of you." Jared said as he shook his head. "You're a lost case Heather, for that I'm embarrassed."
Heather rolled her eyes.
"Of me, why if I'm perfect, I am the best thing that could ever happen to your pathetic life so have that clear brother, I am perfect and no one will be ever to outdo me." Heather told him with a chuckle. "No one will ever be better than me."
"That is what you think, but to be honest I've heard Alex sing and she sings better than you, I've seen the videos of the cheerleader practice and she is better than you. Not to mention that she looks better than you." Jared said. "Alex is in any aspect better than you."
"Jared-." I said interrupting him.
Heather looked as if she had just been slapped hard in the face.
"So you think she is better than me?" Heather asked him.
"I don't think I know that she is, plus with her Alex not embarrassed she accepts me the way I am unlike you." Jared said as he gave a scoff. "She is better than you."
"If you like her so much than me why don't you consider her your new sister?" Heather said with a smile.
Jared looked at her.
