KAYLA'S POV

I wake up with an arm wrapped around my waist. my first reaction is to freak out. I try getting out of the grip but it just tightens. soon I am being pulled into a chest and the sparks are surly flying soon I hear a voice. it is Kaydon whispering to me.

"hey hey it's okay Kayla it's okay your with me your safe" I relax almost immediately. I try to get up to go to the bathroom but sadly I was to weak to pry his strong arm off my waist. I did the only thing I could do. I screamed. he jumped up and was in a protective stance so fast. I laughed so hard and before I knew it Jen was in here ready a fight as well. I laughed  harder in fact so hard I fell off the bed. they helped me up and were laughing to. soon we all settled down. Jen went back to her room and kaydon went back to his. I don't know why but I felt sad when he left. I got my clothes and went and took my shower and got ready for today. I put on a yellow blouse, some black skinny jeans, a white blazer and some black flats. I left my hair down and in it's natural form. I get out of the bathroom and grab the money and my black thin strap purse. I knocked on the wall door and she answered looking down at me with a smile. she was always taller then me but I did not mind usually. she was wearing a pair of black leggings and a red tank top with a leather jacket. she invites me into her room and we sit down on the bed.

"how are you feeling"

"I feel better like a weight has been lifted off my chest and I feel happy"

"do you have the money"

"yep and what do you think of my outfit"

"nice and you look beautiful as always" I was about to protest when she put her hand up telling me not to talk.

"don't deny it embrace it Kayla. stop doubting yourself you are perfect the way you are and don't you forget it" she said with a smile.

"I won't Jen" I hugged her because I knew she was right I needed to stop doubting myself. she hugged me back and it was nice. we had these moments and they were my favorite since she was the only one who knew what truly went on in my life and she was the one who helped me through it all. we stopped hugging and I was about to say something when there was a knock on her door. I got up and answered the door and there was Kaydon. he walked in and stopped in between us.

"are you girls ready yet."

"we are except I have to put on my shoes I will be back" Jen said with a smile and walked to her closet. she soon came out with combat boots on.  she linked arms with me and we headed out and Kaydon caught up to us easily but said nothing. we got to the garage and Jen picked up my truck keys and she handed them to me. we got to our truck and got in. but Kaydon did not.

"come on Kaydon get in we have a lot to do"

"well why don't you use a different rig then this old one"

"because it is nice and one of the few things my dad left me before he died" I blurted out before I could stop it. he looked at me with a regretful look on his face and climbed in and said nothing more. I started it up and headed to the mall. when we got there we stopped by the map of the mall and Jen and I turned to look at Kaydon.

"Kaydon we want to shop alone until we buy stuff for our rooms. we will meet in the food court at 12 sharp okay" Jen said with a tone that I knew meant there was no changing her mind and I agree with her.

"no because you heard Ross I have to come with you"

"no he said you had to go with us he did not say to stay by us and plus you would most likely get bored hanging in girl stores all what do you say." he ponders it and sighs in defeat.
