moving time

KAYLA'S POV

I watch the trees move by as we head back to the hotel. Jen was sitting between me and Kaydon and was silent and just looking forward. I then realized something. our jobs at dots diner. I turn to Jen and speak.

"Jen what about our jobs and ally" Jen was about to say something when Kaydon answered.

"what ally as in red hair and blue eyes ally" I answered wearily

"Yes her why do you ask"

"because she is apart of the gang to"  Jen and i were so confused but maybe that is how he knew me and Jen would be there. I spoke again.

"did she tell you we were there" Kaydon tensed a little at the question.

"well she kind of told us. all she really said was we have two new waitresses"

"is that why you went to the diner"

"well yes and no"

“what do you mean yes and no"

"well yes I came to see you two and I was hungry and dots diner makes great food"

"so why are Jen and me so special to you I understand Ross but you"

"look Kayla I will explain that but only when we are alone maybe when you are settling in we could talk"

"I guess well if it is okay with Jen" I look at Jen and she answers.

"since I am in the room right next to her then fine but no funny business Kaydon"

"thank you so much Jen and Kayla it will make sense when I explain it" before I could respond we arrived at the hotel. we get out and walk in we smile and wave at Tod and head towards the elevator and Kaydon was right behind us. we push the button that said 3. when we got up to the room we unlocked it and walked in. we both headed to our rooms and started packing. I packed everything. when I finished the room was almost bear I headed out to the living area with three bags full of my stuff and that was all I had. Jen came out of her room just moments later and she had the same amount of bags. kaydon grabbed one bag from each of us and then we went back downstairs and gave the key back to Tod and left to my truck. we put our bags in the back and piled in the truck. then without looking back we left again. we made it back to the hideout. Ross was waiting at the door and walked over to us to help with the bags. the guys both took two and Jen and I took one. Ross showed us to our rooms. the rooms were average. there was a sliding wall so it was like a door but in wall form. there was a walk in closet and a computer desk,a Tv and a bathroom. the walls were red and the floor was wooden. I set my bag down and kaydon put my two bags down and Ross followed Jen to her room to put her bags there. once they felt everything was okay they left I started to unpack when Jen came in to my room from sliding wall door. she came up to me and whispered.

"we are leaving from this place."

"how remember they are werewolves they have heightened senses they could find us in a flash"

"we can act like we are exploring this place and we leave it is as simple as that."

"Okay but where will we go"

"we will find another place but for right now we need to leave"

"Okay so we leave right now"

"Yes come on let's pack a small bag" she goes over to my small duffle bag and she puts two sets of clothes for me and her then grabbed the other stuff and then lastly the money. she hands it to me and we walked out the door and down a long hallway and we see the living room and then the door. we open the door quietly. we walk out and started to walk towards the forest when someone comes up behind me and grabs me. I struggle and it was just enough for Jen to turn around and see my attacker. she was mad I could tell that much. she spoke through clenched teeth.
