It's half-an-hour until the sleepover. I'm really looking forward to it! I'm staying at Leanne's for tea tonight, and will go home tomorow for tea-time. I've just finished eating my lunch and packing by bag. I check my bag once more.

£40 Spending Money 3/4 CHECK

Right, I've got everything. Tonight we'll be watching loads of movies and eating sweets, and tomorow we'll be getting the bus to go on a shopping spree in the UK's biggest shopping Centre, Lindsdale Shopping Square. (I need some new Summer clothes)! I quickly give my hair a brush and carefully apply some eyeliner and mascara. I'm wearing a turquoise over-the-bellybutton crop-top, denim stretchy jeans and some red Converse. Suddenly I hear my mum shouting from downstairs. "Come on Hannah! Are you ready to go?" "Yes mum! I'm just coming," I shout back. Hurrying, I grab my bags and run downstairs. "Have you got everything?" mum asks. "Yeah, I've even triple checked," I laugh. "Let's go then!" mum says. After we get in the car and mum starts the engine, I text Leanne;

Hi. On my way. I'll be there ASAP! See you soon X

A few minutes later I get a reply;

Ok. Can't wait! See you soon too. Did you take the movies? X

Yes! Fault in our stars and all of the Final Destination series! X

Great! Bye X

Leanne lives further in town, where I live near the outskirts. Leanne's house is really long but only 3 metres wide. It is very modern and furnished, where my house is more cosy and welcoming. Her house has 4 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room, 1 dining room, 1 games room and a small garden. My house is a cottage, and has 3 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 living room, 1 dining room and a massive beautiful garden. We grow all sorts of plants, and vegetables in our green house. We've got loads of trees that stretch around the garden to make it private. At the end of our garden we have a tall treehouse in our apple tree that dad built for me when I was younger. I spend most of my time in it. Leanne's house is a lot bigger than mine, and my garden is a lot bigger than hers. Her house is so expensive-looking that you don't want to touch anything-let alone sit on the couch! Her parent's are really kind and generous, but can come across a little stuck-up and snobby at times. Even Leanne thinks so. Her mum's called Carol and her dad's called Mark. Leanne's the total opposite to her parents. She's caring and fun, but is very daring and adventurous. She's a bit of a party girl too. I'm adventurous, and can be daring at times, but Leanne can sometimes take it a bit too far. About the time when she prepared me her, 'Homeade Recipe', (this is the point where I'm imitating over-exaggerated bunny ears), and told me to drink it. I agreed, because she'd made it especially for me, but little did I know that it consisted of half a bottle of Hot Tobasco Sauce and Chili powder- I was only 10. I never forgave her for months. But we've been best friends ever since nursery, and always will be- I think....

The car pulls up outside of Leanne's house. It looks bigger than last time. It always does. "Have fun at your sleep over!" mum shouts, as I get out of the car. "Thanks, see you tomorrow!" I shout back, waving. I walk to the door. As I'm just about to knock, the door swings open. Leanne's mum, Carol, stands there. "Darling, darling. Please come in," she says with a swift gesture. I turn around. Mum's still there, and waves as she's about to drive off. Adults are always like that- they stay to make sure that you go where you're supposed to go, and that the people who's house your going to are in. Well, where else would they be? As I enter the living room, I notice that the blinds are closed and the lights are switched off. I can gardly see a thing. "Errr, would you like me to turn the"-"SURPRISE!" somebody cuts me off. The lights switch on, and I see Leanne and her parents standing underneath a big banner reading, 'Good Luck At College!' in big bold letters. I don't know what to say! I look around me. The whole living room is decorated with multi-coloured balloons, and the dining table has pizza, crisps, cupcakes and nachos on it- my favourite! In the corner of the room, I see a stack of presents under a balloon that reads my name. I can't believe it. This is like a dream- not like my nightmare I had last night. In fact- it must be a dream! Let's see if it lives up to it's excpectations....
