"W-what is all this for?" I said, astounded. "Why, it's for you of course!" Leanne shouts back in excitement. I just stand there, shooken. "Do you not like it?" Leane's dad, Mark asks, frowning. "I do! It's just, I never expected this," I laughed. "Ohhh. Would you really think that we wouldn't give you a leavers party before you go. It won't be until a few months when you and Leanne see each other again. You two are used to seeing each other every day!" Carol laughed. "I'll really miss you- all of us will," Leanne said sweetly. "Ohh, that's really kind of yous, but yous shouldn't of. This must of cost you loads!" I say. "It's the least we could do for you, after being our daughter's best friend for years," Carol says nicely. "Anyway, take a look at our house! Do you really think we couldn't afford something as small as this?" Mark asked rhetorically. "Dad, stop bragging. It's not all about money you know!" Leanne shouted. "Okay, okay. Anyway, it's a delight to have you here. I hope you enjoy your stay," Mark announces, taking on the hotel receptionist job. "Thank you so much, I can't tell you how grateful I am!" I shout in excitement. We spend the next few minutes in an awkward silence, smiling and nodding at each other, until Carol eventually brakes the silence. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's tuck in!" She laughs. We all sit around the dining table- a large glass table with wooden chairs around it. I tuck in. My plate consists of:

2 slices of peperoni pizza
1 slice of ham and pineapple pizza
Some nachos
A stash of salt and vinegar kettle chips
A lovely hand-decorated cupcake

That's all I'm taking- for now. I'm sure they'll be room for a few more cupcakes later!

After 1 hour and a half, we're all stuffed, and have managed to eat everything apart from a few cupcakes which are saved for tomorow- 2 each. Leanne heads over to the sterio and blasts out some party music. "I've got a feeling!" She shouts, "that tonight's going to be a good night. That tonight's going to be a good-good ni-i-ight!" "Leanne, turn that music down now!" Mark shouts. "Okay!" Leanne screams over the music. I told you she's a party girl. She turns it down a teeny bit, but judging by her dads face, she decided to turn it down a few notches. She made the right choice! "Come on Hannah! Let's dance," she soon starts singing, "let's dance, gonna be okay, just-do-it, just dance!" Hesitating, I get up and just sway slowly. Leanne gently takes my hands and spins me around. I soon get into it. Suddenly, the music stops, and 'I'm sexy and I know it' starts playing. Then Leanne's dancing turns into a zumba routine we learnt at school a few years back that involves a lot of shuffling, hip rotations and hand grooves. After a few songs, Carol shouts out, "Oh, I almost forgot. Do you want to open your presents now before you get too tired from dancing?" We turn the music down so it quietly plays in the background. "Presents? I didn't expect a party-let alone presents!" I say excitedly. "All party's have to have presents, otherwise it isn't a party!" Carol laughs. "Go on then. Open them!" Mark laughs enthusiastically. I pick the smallest present first, and carefully rip the wrapping paper open. Knowing Leanne, her first sense would be to rip it open! Inside I see a black box and take it out of the package. With a CLICK it opens, and inside lies the most beautiful earings I've ever seen! They're pearls, that hang underneath a shiny turquoise jewel. "Thanks, they're beautiful! I'll wear them only for special occasions- because they're so precious. You really shouldn't have though!" "Oh it's the least we could do, we're so lucky to have you here, you're like family to us!" Carol says lovingly. Ohhhh, that's sweet. "This is the least you could do?" I laughed. To me the earings would be close to the most they could do! "Of course- look, there's even more presents for you!" Mark says excitedly. "More?" I ask in shock. They both nod. I take the next smallest parcel. By the shape of it, it looks like a book or a folder- I love books! I open it up gently in case it is a book. I find a big scrapbook inside, with plenty of pockets to put photos and precious memory items in. It's a good idea to take a scrapbook to college. It was a turquoise colour, and had my name and birth date on the front in fancy letters. When I opened it I saw the words, College Scrapbook in fancy letters too. It meant a lot to me. After some hugs and thankyou's, I move on to my next present, a set of books. It's my favourite series! It's called, 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' by Lemony Snicket. There's 13 books in total. I have read all of them from the local library and have always longed to own the series. Then I move to my next, (yes, another one), present which is the biggest and the last one. Excitedly- I tear open the blue wrapping paper and see a stack of College studies books. This must of been so expensive! There's Advanced books on Science, Geography and Geology, Maths, English, P.E, History and Modern Studies. I carefully flick through them. Each one is extremely detailed and includes information on different topics related to the subject, aswell as including project ideas and tests to master the subject. I'm so happy! This could make me one of the best students in my level! "This is amazing! You don't know how much this will help me! I can't thank you enough!" I laugh, stunned. After loads of hugs and a long talk about college and all my gifts, Carol tells us to go upstairs and have some fun. "Why don't you two go upstairs, watch a horror movie, gossip about romance, and paint each other's nail and put on makeup like sleepovers are meant to be like!"she suggests whilst giggling. "Okay", Leanne says. "Thank you for the tea-party- and all of the gifts!" I smile. "No probkem- now you two go and have some fun, while me and Carol get out the White Wine," Mark laughs. Hannah gestures a rude action. "Okay", I smirk, "Goodnight!" I run up stairs and follow Hannah. "You don't think they will- do you?" I reply to her gesture. "No- of course not! I was just joking. But you know what wine does to you!" she laughs. We giggle, as Hannah slams the door behind her. "Now for Final Destination- and you better have popcorn!" I shout. "Of course- but you're forgetting something" hannah smirks. "What?" I ask, slightly nervous. "Time for me to paint you're nails, and I'll help with your makeup!" Hannah laughs. Ohhhh, this better be good.
