Jane's POV
Slenderman healed my knife wound. It still hurt when I sat up so I laid down with EJ sitting right next to me. Sally found out I was here and got excited. I did the best I could to hide from Slenderman. I'm afraid of him... he might try to murder me. EJ hid with me, I think he's scared of Slender man too.
Only Jeff and Sally know where we hide. We hide in a hidden doorway that Sally found. Its a hidden door that camouflages with the house, Sally used to be the only one who knew about it. Sometimes she slept there when she was afraid of someone and she often played with her dolls in there.
EJ was not like anybody i ever met. He was quiet yet openminded. He didn't like to tell people how he felt and I respected that. I don't like sharing my feelings either after all, i came from a really bad home.
Its 12:00 am and I can't fall asleep. I was sleeping on a bunk bed. In this room, there were 2 bunkbeds, I slept on the bunkbed near the window and on the bottom bunk and EJ slept on the bunkbed near the door and slept on the top bunk.
All of a sudden the door slowly creaks opens and I quickly get up, making sure my head doesn't get hit. "Hey" Jeff whisper-shouted to me, as he closed the door and walked over to me. "What do you want?" I said, staring at him. "I had a nightmare... about what happened in the pass..." He said as he slowly sat on my bed and looked at the floor, embarrassed.
I looked at him trying not to show the sorrow in my eyes. "Sleep on the top bunk." I whispered to him. He looked like he wanted to say something else but only nodded and climbed on the top bunk and laid down. "Goodnight" Jeff whisper shouted to me. "Goodnight" I whispered back.
"Better sleep on the top bunk, goodnight" EJ whispered, as he quietly growled.
