Author's note: I'm writing this during theater rehearsals... so we'll see how this turns out.

Kirishima's POV:

It was nice seeing Bakugou relax, and just have fun for once... Even if that ment that he was a king, and I was his dragon companion.

It was getting late and somebody really needed to make food for the child.

"Who's cooking tonight?"

I asked our class, interrupting are playing.

Nobody volunteered, so Bakugou stood up with a sigh.

"Since you're all useless... I guess I'll go cook."

Eri gave him a dirty look.

"That's mean... you not supposed to call people useless."

He looked down at her.

"Sorry... do you want to help me make dinner?"

She looked excited by that idea.

"Yeah!"

I got up as well.

"Can I help?"

Bakugou shrugged.

"I don't see why not."

The three of us headed to the kitchen.

"What do I do?"

Eri asked, clearly pleased by being allowed to help.

"Hmmm..."

Bakugou tapped his chin, clearly exaggerating his thinking expression.

"Well... it's a really important job... I don't know if you can do it."

"I can!"

She said, confidentiality.

"Alright, then you can rinse the rice for me."

Bakugou said, picking her up, and putting her on the counter next to the sink.

He showed her how to rinse the rice, then headed over to me.

"Alright, you're gonna help me chop veggies. I'm not giving the child a knife. I will not be held responsibility for missing fingers."

I nodded and we sat at the table, Bakugou sliding a cutting board over to me.

I spoke quietly.

"You seem to be enjoying your play date."

He glared at me.

"It's not a play date... it's babysitting."

"Mmhmm... you seemed to be playing a lot for it not being a play date."

I said, trying to hide my smile.

"You were playing to!"

He stated with a clear pout.

"Yeah... but I don't think anyone got quite as into the game of pretend as you... except maybe Kaminari."

He rolled his eyes, knife chopping getting more intense.

He ticked, hand swinging to the side, almost chucking the fricking knife.

He slowly turned his head to face me, clearly just as surprised as me.

I reached over, slowly removing the knife from his hand.

"I... I'm gonna go check on that rice..."

He said quietly.

Bakugou's POV:

I was not expecting the whole knife fiasco, but at least I didn't actually throw it.

"Is it all clean?"

I asked the little girl rinsing the rice.

"Not quite..."

She said, with a look of concentration.

I couldn't help but to smile.

After some time had passed, I put the now very clean rice in the rice cooker.

Kirishima and I were talking when I felt a tug on my pants leg. I looked down at the little girl with a questioning look on her face.

"When will dinner be done?"

"Soon hopefully."

She smiled happily, and ran to tell the class that dinner was almost ready.

Kirishima gave me a look.

"What?..."

I asked, wanting to know why he was fucking staring at me like a weirdo.

"It... it just makes me happy to see you happy..."

"Fucking loser."

I said, trying to hide my smile.

"I'm telling Mr Aizawa that you swore."

He teased.

"Don't you dare!"

Author's note:
