Another suitor

Chapter 2

Larry Hampher meet his fiancé six months after the summer party. Emma was a pretty girl, with golden hair and deep blue eyes. They started to go out together soon after they had been introduced. Each moment he spent with her, Larry found himself comparing her to Lady Sybil.

He had not heard from her since they last saw each other but he was sure she was not engaged. His problem was he was not able to stand up to his parents, Lord and Lady Hampher will not allow his son to decide who he wanted to marry, so he keept dating with Emma.

As the days turned into weeks and months, he becamed desesperate to see Sybil again. He had finaly builded up the courage to write to her.

Dear Sybil,
Nearly two years have passed since we last met. I really miss our talks and our friendship, our long walks and our memories.

I am beggining to understand love, I really apreciate Emma, but I am not ready to marry her.

I wish we will be able to meet soon again, as soon as possible. That will help me to get my ideas sorted out. Please let me know any date I could visit Downton.
