"How are you even with us? I thought ghosts were just fairytales?" Spoke Kota as he rubbed his head, the rest of his brothers watching me with the baby.
"Anger, I believe," bringing my hand up I started to trace Lilith's features, her silver eyes closed in a dreamless slumber. Nothing was said anymore, as they did the eye movements that I've seen them do throughout the day. A sign left one of their lips as Suit-and-Tie came forward.
"Why are you filled with anger?"
"I was murdered. Killed in my own home, and never to be seen or heard from again," I softly spoke to him as I held Lilith's small, warm hands in my own. So fragile and tiny but with warmth that I couldn't possess.
"Who did it?" Luke muttered, it seemed that he finally had some courage to speak to me after the fiasco that had happened earlier. I didn't response, not because I wanted to keep my murders name a secret but the fact that I did not remember what had happened.
"I...I don't remember." I whispered.
"Well isn't that fucking peachy," Nathan replied sarcastically. His fire eyes bore into my head as he sneered at me. "Not only do you not remember but we can't help you get rid of your anger."
"Nathan shut up! Don't make her mad!" Gabe whisper-yelled as he held onto Luke's arm, North on Luke's other side as he looked towards the ground. Silas was quiet, so was Brandon, Corey, and Raven. Axel stayed near the archway sort of acting like a guard to keep me in the room with them, Sean began to approach me when Suit-and-Tie stopped him.
"Maybe if you gave us your name we could look for any leads towards solving your murder Mrs. Ophelia."
"I don't think my name would help in any sort of way. Not even the realtor could give it to you."
"Do you not want us to help you or not!" Nathan yelled.
I jumped in surprise as his yell echoed off the living room walls. I kept my mouth shut and continued to run my hand over Lilith's face before combing down her hair. I held her a bit longer before walking over to Sean and handing him the baby.
I exchanged no more words between any of the men in the room, it felt suffocating and surprisingly cold. "It's late, you all need sleep" I told them softly as I resumed my spot by the wall, my hands behind my back as I leaned on them.
"We're not don-," Nathan began to speak,
"As far as I know you need to sleep, considering that you, Nathan, have slept less than any of your brothers, since you've been here. You really need it. Besides, there is always the morning to talk more, I can't leave the property."
He rolled his eyes before taking one last look at me then towards his brothers. Axel moved out of the way as he was given a nod from silver eyes. One by one the brothers left the room cautiously, each giving me a look before disappearing out of the room and upstairs. The only people left were Axel and silver eyes.
