I had just dropped Rozonda off after our date and was heading home, this was all going good for me.

"So you better pop some shit nigga before I rock yo shit!" I was thinking of some lyrics to put into my lyric sheet. I always wanted to make music, I don't even care if I get rich or if it gets released, I just wanna make music.

I pulled into the driveway and got out hearing Tionne arguing with Dalvin. I hate that muhfucka so much.

"Maybe if you moved in we wouldn't have this issue then bitch!" I heard him yell. That muhfucka better watch who he calling a bitch and that's some I could bet on.

I was listening in on their argument until I heard a few slaps, I didn't know if it was from Tionne or Dalvin until I heard Tionne crying.

"Yo you heard that!!??" Tupac came running across the street to see what was going on "yea, that muhfucka put his hands on our cousin!" We ran into the house and started beating his ass "f-fuck off of m-me punks!" He spit blood at me.

"Lemme handle this one" I mumbled and tupac stepped away.

I picked him up and walked him outside so I could throw his ass on the floor but I seen a black car start to drive around the corner. I seen a few familiar faces, I think they the other people in Jodeci. I didn't pay it no mind and turned around and proceeded to beat Dalvins ass.

"Lisa!!!" I heard Tupac shout so I turned around. Only to see guns pointing outside of the car window.

I decided to run, I don't know where I was running to but I was running. But didn't get far as I had felt sharp pains in my back and my neck, just to come in realization that I had got shot.

Tupac, Tionne, and my two aunts Gayle and Afeni came running towards me. "Lefty" Pac spoke softly but it sounded like he was crying "y-you l-let t-them m-muhfuckas g-get m-me m-man"I had tears threatening to fall as it was hard to speak cus I had just got shot in my neck.

"We gotta get you to a hospital, somebody help!" Tionne shouted for help. With how cruel this world is, I would've been dead by now if I was by myself.

I woke up in a hospital with a major headache.

"Ms. Lopes, your up I see" the female nurse smiled at me "your very beautiful" I smirked "you've gotta lot of game, especially since you just woke up" she smirked back "what's yo name?" I asked her "Brandy, I do music apart from being a nurse" she spoke softly, she was very beautiful, I would hit it but I got Rozonda now. "Baby oh my god! I came here as soon as I heard the news!!" Rozonda ran into the room.

"Hey baby" I hesitated to say only because Brandy was right there. "Lopes you should be able to leave in the next two weeks, gives you extra time to fully recover" she smiled then walked out the room, I really do wanna get to know her better, but I got Rozonda. I should be okay tho. "So...you alright?" She asked me "yea, youn gotta worry bout me, I'm straight-" I got cut off by my uncle unexpectedly "Jaykani, what have you gotten yourself into!?" He shouted, he ova here callin me by a name that ain't even mine, just because I was gon be named Jaykani don't mean my name is Jaykani. "Uncle James man I wasn't doin nun wrong buh helpin Tionne out then some niggas came busting at my ass" I was explaining to him.

As I finished explaining my aunties walked in.

"James.." my aunt Afeni rolled her eyes "Afeni..".

"What the hell is going on here?" I say there confused on what the hell was going on "how is my son doing?" He asked her "Who!? Ma you got another son!?" Pac shouted in excitement.

Then that's when it hit me and Tionne, Tupac was the "son".

"Why is everyone looking at me? Where's my little brother!?" He smiled "I-is that him?" My uncle James pointed at Tupac.

My auntie shook her head with tears in her eyes. "Your the one my father cheated on my mother with!?" Tionne shouted "it's not that serious Tenese!" My aunt Gayle tried to calm her down but it wasn't working, so I knew what I had to do. "Everyone get the fuck out except for Tionne and Tupac!" I shouted "Watch your mouth...let's go everyone" my uncle led them outside the room.

"Look man, this don't change shit. All we got is each other to hustle and survive in the hood. We gotta keep going we can't let nothing stop us man, we been hustling since we was in the 3rd grade, we can't stop now cus of one little incident. C'mon man, we better then this".

"You right man, well..I got a older sister now" he smiled at Tionne "And I got a little brother". They hugged each other and I was smiling.

"Now that's more like it-" I got cut off by my mama. "Jaykani!" She ran to me "would everybody stop calling me that!!! It's not my name!!!!" I shouted "Not you mama" I chuckled nervously "Mhm" she got up off me and sat down on the chair.

"Gayle says y'all found out about each other" my mama looked at Tionne and Tupac "yep" I sighed "aunt Wanda, can you tell me the story about how my mama and Aunt Afeni was both messin wit my daddy?" Tionne asked her "of course baby, sit back cus issa long story" man my mama funny as fuck, tryna use slang.

"It all started in 1968, when Gayle first met James, they were madly in love, couldn't separate them what so ever, that's when I got introduced to James brother O- I'm not gonna say his name, but Lisa's father, we got together and he was just cheating and cheating, had multiple children, and was beating me. Fast forward to 1969, Gayle got pregnant and they broke up because James was cheating but no one ever knew who it was until she caught James and Afeni in her bed. When I tell you she went crazy, she almost wanted to whoop Afeni's ass, but she didn't. Then when Tionne was born they got back together and 5 months later Afeni came crying to James that she was pregnant with Lesane, he denied it and never told Gayle, now when Lesane was born man he came out looking just like James, nobody could deny that Lesane was James son. I was still dealing with Lisa's father, him moving back and forth since he playing in the NFL, just was a lot going on with us, then when Lesane was 2 months old, I got pregnant with little ol Lisa, but by then he already had 9 kids, I was ashamed to have his 10th child. I told him about Lisa and he just disappeared, never showed up until Lisa's 5th birthday, then after that he permanently disappeared, never seen him again. While I was going thru that I couldn't even help my sisters cus they was fighting over James, it was just too much going on so I decided to move to Compton, it was better for Lisa, when she grew up she had a lot of friends. Afeni finally backed off of James and moved to Harlem while Gayle and James moved to Atlanta, then when y'all was in the 3rd grade me and Afeni decided to move to Atlanta so y'all could be here together. That's all".

"Dang, so my daddy was in the NFL? To bad ion watch football" then somebody walked into the door.

"Is my daughter okay!?"
