Judges please consider this sternly...

Book Cover: 5 points.

Irrespective of the saying, "Do not judge a book by it's cover.", We tend to judge a book by it's cover. Do you think it was visual enough to attract your sight?

If it wasn't, why wasn't it attractive? What can be improved?

Book Title: 5 points.

A book's first impression starts with it's title. Is the title relevant enough to match the plot? Was it too common or was it innovative?

If it wasn't, why wasn't it? What could have been better?

Blurb/Synopsis: 5 points.

Blurb is what gives us an insight to the story. Was it relevant? Did it make you feel intrigued? Or did it reveal everything already?

First Chapter: 5 points.

How was the first Chapter? Was it sweet or was it tragic? Did it make you feel continuing the book?

Do you wanna give any tips of improvements from a reader's perspective?

Vocabulary: 5 points.

Does it have too simple language? Or is it beautifully illustrated with words? Do you feel everything the author wants to convey by just seeing the words?

Or is it too bland?

Grammar: 5 points.

Okay, so the book has beautiful words but the grammar is poor? Do all the verbs agree with the subject? Did the tense change mid-way?

Plot/Storyline: 20 points.

The most important part of a book is it's storyline. Do you think the story is cliché? Or is it spicy? Is it a very simple one? Or is it one of those nail-biting books?

Characters: 10 points.

Fanfictions are written on already existing people. So, do you feel that the particular Idol would have behaved the very way, he/she has been described in the particular book? Or are they at two different ends?

Do the characters show any development throughout the book or are they the same
victim/jerk/baddie/goodie?

Do you like the characters?

Emotions: 10 points.

How do you feel after reading the chapters? Does it make you blush or feel a sudden sting of anger? Or do you feel happy? Does it convey the emotions you were expecting? Are the emotions conveyed, relevant for the book?

Pace: 10 points.

Was the book too fast? Or was it too slow? Did it maintain the flow or did you feel off the track?

Ending: 10 points.

Does the book end with a satisfying scene? Or was it too fast or slow? Did is beat around the Bush rather than going straight?

Or is the book ongoing? How was the last update?

Impression: 10 points.

What was your last impression after reading the book? Did you like it? Or do you think it could be better?
