"She never felt this optimistic before. She strangely like it."

Chapter 31

After that obstacle, The filming went smoothly. and Yeline's most awaited time finally arrive. 

Summer talking with her brother or also known as Yeline's scene with the film emperor.

NERVE WRECKING!

Yeline can see it, the sympathetic stares from the staffs... And those stares didn't help calm her whole being one a bit.

Yeline force herself to go back reading her script.

This scene is the first scene Yeline would be doing with her idol. It is also one of the easiest.

You can Either cry or not but Yeline thinks that crying in this scene is out of character for summer. 

In Yeline's eyes, Summer won't let her brother know or see her crying. Because if what the director said about her personality matching the character then crying is a big NO NO.

I mean, if it was her. She wouldn't show her embarrassing self towards her beloved. Crying because she fell in love with her brother and was not reciprocated is extremely embarrassing.

This particular scene will show how the relationship between the siblings was starting to crumble and neither one knows for what reason. This is where the gap between them started to show. This scene happens before Summer saw met Alexandra.

"Is everyone ready. Okay let's start the scene. Take one." 

Yeline gulp and took a deep breath before nodding and hurriedly made her way towards the makeshift stairs. But before she could hide in the corner she saw The film emperor smiled at her and a rushing comfort immediately hit her and it seems to be a trigger for her heart to beat erratically and loud.

Yeline pat both of her cheeks to cease the heat rushing towards them.

She never thought that the emperor can be more beautiful than he normally was.

Yeline shouldn't disappoint this perfect being, she should not mess up, slight mistake is also not acceptable.

Okay, Yeline needs to start concentrating. 

"Good morning brother," Summer greeted Gabriel happily and made her way downstairs, smiling at her brother who's sitting in their couch.

"What time are you going to my school today?"  The smile in Summer's lips lightly dimmed when the confused expression in her brother's face didn't escaped in her eyes.

"You didn't forgot... right?" 

"No... of course not!. It's a parent meeting right? I'll be there."

Yeline faltered and thankfully she manage compose her self. She knows that the Emperor is a great actor, an amazing actor that rarely appears in the entertainment circle. But she didn't expect that just for a few words his act immediately impacted her greatly.

A slight pain in her chest didn't escape from her notice. Obviously they don't have that much interaction with each other and just met for a few days due to filming. they didn't grew up together and they weren't siblings.

But the emperor seems to bring her towards an illusion that they were siblings. He was her adopted brother, and he was the person she fell in love with.

Yeline's hand lightly rose up and immediately fell, fortunately such actions didn't seem to fall out of the play, on contrary it actually intensify the action appropriate for the scene. Therefore, the director didn't notice anything but Calum did.

He was impress. he never thought a new comer could control her self and could avoid being overwhelmed by his presence. But when he felt that she was still being overwhelmed he suppresses his presence and let her shine more.

Thus, the balance surfaced between the pair. creating a scene that can rival reality.

 Summer opened her mouth to correct him but pauses when she noticed his attention were entirely in his phone.

Why? she ask her self. is there something important that he wouldn't talk to her more?

Gabriel who was staring intently in his phone with a hopeful expression didn't notice the hurt expression that flashes in her sister's face. 

But that hopeful expression... it was that face he showed when he was talking to her. was her call was the one he keep waiting? With a hopeful expression that he never gave her.

"Actually It's our dance pe-" 

A ring cut her off. Summer rubs her fingers and watch as her brother hurriedly rose from his seat and answered the phone.

"Brother..." She called but the male just waved at her and pat her head a bit and left. "Brother you'll be there right?" She loudly question and heard a feint 'Yes'.

Summer touches her head and tried to search for the usual warmth she always felt, but found nothing. 

"Bother will be there." She happily said ignoring the anxiousness and doubt that tried to surfaced and stared at the door eyes full of expectations.

"Good! Very good!" The staffs suppresses their amazement towards the young influencer and emperor and immediately made their way towards the set to fix it for the next scene. 

The make up artist hurriedly made her way towards Yeline and help her fix her appearance while the director happily laugh at the successful one take that just occurred.

He repeatedly watch the scene that was filmed and mumbled praises under his breath. The assistant Director stared weirdly at him but didn't uttered anything. After all he was as well impress by what happened.

"Good Good, Good job Yeline! let's proceed for the next scene." Director Gou immediately said after seeing yeline already calming from the emotions.

Yeline nodded and felt happy from the praise, she took a deep breath and rubs her hand to calm her self down from the adrenaline that the acting brought to her.

She felt that she could do more amazing after the scene with the Emperor. When this feelings appeared yeline was startled. She never felt this optimistic before. She strangely like it.

"you did amazing," Yeline happily thanked the emperor and accepted the pat he gave her.

Because of this one act Yeline who never felt warmth in her entire life was horrified at the greediness that suddenly sprang up from her.

She wanted more of this warmth. If she was a cat, she felt that she would be purring continuously. 

"your next scene will start, I'll watch you."

"Yes!"

When the hand that was patting her head left, she raises her hand and touches her head, trying to search for the warmth that the male might left on her. when she didn't she frown in disappointment but immediately composes her self and prepared for the next scene.

The rest of the days and weeks of filming went extremely well. Those foreign feelings that Yeline felt remained causing her to feel alive for the first time.

And For the first time, the thought of breaking someone's happiness didn't materialize. And the plan of breaking Pei Ning's was forgotten. not until the last day of filming.
