Chapter 38

[She's just a game streamer, can she even act?]

[Well upstairs, please don't forget that they are promoting a movie and she's the female lead right?]

[Upstairs, Yeline isn't the female lead but the second female lead.]

[But this didn't change the fact that she can act right? she just filmed a movie but that doesn't mean she can act. I don't know, I will wait for the movie before judging.]

[The commenter above me is right, we can't judge her just because she's not an actress. there are people who can act but aren't actresses or actors, ahem I'm talking about you green tea and white lotus people! ]

[I already know she can act. She's a two-face right?]

[Upstairs not gonna lie but you're annoying.]

"Well, if you ever decided to pursue acting do inform us first." The male host said teasingly.

Yeline nodded, "I will," 

"How about Ms. Fuyumi how was your first movie?"

Miu smiled when she was called in. "It was great, Emperor Calum was very helpful When I couldn't find the right emotions of the character. Ms. Pei is very delightful to be with as well, and lastly, Yeline is very cute."

Yeline fought the urge to raise her eyebrows and force herself to show a happy expression.

Everyone could hear the hidden meaning of Miu's words. Complimenting the other two was normal but when you compliment the last one with just one word and one that is used by the majority, everyone would see it as her complimenting the girl half-heartedly. 

"Yeah, Yeline is very cute and hardworking, Almost every day I could see her tailing the director to ask for advice. And when the director isn't convenient, she goes to me." Calum added with a slight laugh under his breath.

Yeline was surprised when she heard her idol back her up. The girl glance at the male and felt a bubbling excitement inside her.

"Oh? A pretty girl following around you? I want it too," The male host playfully said causing a laughter among the audience. "You.." The male host said and stared at the female host who raised her eyebrows at him.

The male host exaggerated a grimace and clicked his tongue. "Forget it," Everyone laugh at his actions and completely forgetting the hidden  animosity of Miu Fuyumi's words.

Miu clench her fist and feign a laugh at the act of the host. She hid her irritation and frustration of failing at stepping on the pink haired.

"Anyway, everyone knows that Miu Fuyumi become famous because of her dancing and singing skills right? and of course being a daughter of famous golden directors is a plus too."

Miu Fuyumi smiled at the female host and nodded.

"Then if it's okay, can you give as a live performance?" Miu wasn't surprised when she was asked to perform.

She was already told that this will happen. It is a trick to liven up the show. "Sure,"

Miu stood up and the other guest sat farther from the center as the girl stood at the center.

Everyone quieted down and watch as Miu turn her back towards them, they waited for the music and felt huge excitement when the first beat sounded.

The song was catchy and lively, everyone couldn't help but tap their hands and feet when the rhythm of the music sounded. Then to their joy, a soothing and angelic voice emitted from the girl and perfectly synch with the song.

The girl's voice was almost perfect they heard her pitch that is comparable to perfectness, her sense of rhythm is so good it made them intoxicated.

Miu started dancing and made everyone awed ay the elegance, sexiness and a hint of liveliness  on her moves. Every tap of her feet synch with the beat, every sway of her body was so smooth it mad them slightly swoon, and the way of her body was so perfect and didn't show any stiffness at all.

Everyone was emerse with her performance that after the end of the song they haven't get out of being entrance yet.

No one know who first screamed but everyone in cue of the first scream, followed. The station was filled with scream of excitement that made the guests and hosts applause.

[fuck! So amazing!]

[6666666666 I feel like my legs are melting! No I think there really are!]

The screen was filled with 6s and encore from the live audiences.

Yeline Young wasn't surprised when she witness a powerful performance. On contrary she expected it. After all Miu Fuyumi was the female protagonist of the novel. She was expected to be on the spot light and at the top of the entertainment pyramid.

She wasn't envious nor angry at the unfair treatment of the heavens. She was actually excited at the thought of fighting with the favored daughter of the heavens.

Everyone went back to their seats and praised the girl. Pei ning reluctantly and Yeline in fake sincerity.

When Miu saw Yeline praising her something glint in her eyes which disappeared immediately.

"How about you Yeline? Why not sing for us?" Miu said in fake friendliness.

Everyone stared at the Pink-haired girl in excitement. After all the powerful performance that just occured is still in their mind, the excitement hadn't disappeared completely. Thus, everyone wants to see another performance.

"Oh, that's a bad idea I can't sing." Yeline said with innocent smile on her face which was misunderstood by the female host as her being humble.

"Of course, of course everyone can be humble and down to earth. But, we sometimes have to treat the people as well, right everyone?"

the audience nodded and screamed Yeline's name causing  the girl to pout playfully.

"But I really can't sing," Yeline said.

Miu of course knew not to missed with this opportunity to humiliate the girl. Performing after a powerful performance is equivalent to execution after all.

"Come on Yeline, you can do it." Miu said in fake encouragement.

Yeline finally sigh in defeat and stood up but paused when she felt a slight tug on her hand. Yeline glance at the culprit and saw Calum looking at her with concern. Yeline just smiled and made her way to the center.

Everyone was prepared, they waited for the beat being paired with angelic voice with a hint of cuteness, youth, and liveliness.

But as everyone's expectation risen up to a highest degree, a voice sounded, out of synch and full of cracks in the end of the pitch.

The whole stage was filled with shock, sadness, despair, and melancholy.
