Spider Mountain Battle 4

A flash of light comes in the blink of my eyes.

My eyes move up, trying to catch up where it comes to see that Nezuko was fully awake.

Now I can understand. This is her blood technique. Her blood at the string started burning, destroy the demon string.

Yosh, we can win this.

   "Tanjirou-kun cut its neck now!" He nods.

I hold the demon's body with my fifth style to make sure it's not running away.

Tanjirou's sword was suddenly on fire 'cause of Nezuko's blood and cutting its neck. He succeeded.

After we manage to defeat it, I sitting on the ground breathing heavily.

We win...We win...

But where did I see it before? The fire moves are kinda familiar for me. So do Tanjirou's scar. Just like I thought, I still don't know about Tanjirou.

I wake up after breathing normally and saw Tanjirou crawling to unconscious Nezuko.

   "Tanjirou-kun, let me help you." I walk towards him for help. Tanjirou almost passed out based on the way he breathes.

I snap out when a flames aura from the demon that we just defeat crawling me from behind without warning.

   "You thought that you defeated me? You sad fool, were you happy in your delusions?"

It was supposed to be dead, we already cut its head.

   "I cut my head off with my strings. Way before you could cut my head off."

It suffocating, so hard to breathe.

   "Enough of this. I'll kill the three of you. It's been a while since I've been this pissed off."

I use all my energy in my terrible condition. I no longer can fight.

   "How sad. This really is sad. I got this mad sometime before, but it's been so long I don't remember it."

Think fast! It must be some other way to escape from its wrath.

   "Why aren't both of you burning in the first place? My strings and I got burned. I don't know if it's your sister's power or not, but thanks for making me mad. I'm gonna cut my ties with you guys without any regret."

Oh no, I ran out of ideas!!

   "Demon blood technique, a cage of murdering eyes."

Strings surrounded us. I cover Tanjirou's body with mine even though it was of no use. Is this how I gonna die?

...Eve senpai...Tou-san...

The strings that surround us are gone.

I heard the sound of a sword swing, Could it be...

   "You did we'll Mafumafu. Leave the rest to me."

Giyuu.

The demon looks kinda mad once again and uses its power so does Giyuu. Giyuu uses his eleventh style named Lull.

So far that I remember Ojichān techniques go up to ten but the eleventh style is made by Giyuu. A technique unique just for him.

A lull describes the sea when there is no wind. The waves never shake, as if they made a mirror. Every technique that enters Giyuu's area just died out.
It becomes nothing.

Giyuu easily cutting the neck.

The demon body still walking while still shattered towards me and Kamado's siblings. But I did nothing.

The flames of confusion and sadness roaming inside the body. It falls not a sign to wake up.

I see those flames before when a demon or human feels unbearable sadness. That feeling only comes when you remember your comrades or family that you love dearly. It's the feeling that can not be gone by time.

Tanjirou saw it and places his hands on the body. A feeling of warmth comes to the body. I search at the head and saw a face of regret and sadness, before it went, disappears from this world.

Kaa-san once told me, that you will lose your memory when you became a demon. But some demons manage to remember their past but can't do anything to run from their fate.

A demon can not go to heaven 'cause they have sinned. But what for mixed-blood fate be? Am I going to heaven or hell?

I shaking my head to forget that thought. It's no use to think it now.

Out of nowhere, something comes towards us at high speed. I cover the siblings and a sound of two metal clashes can be heard.

   "Oh? Why are you getting in the way Tomioka-san?"

   "Shinobu-chan?!" I said while Giyuu keeps silent.

   "You said we can't get along with demons, but what's all this about? If you do this everyone will hate you."

Shinobu is here. This is gonna be a problem, our mission is to kill the demon, and Nezuko is one of them.

   "Okay, Tomioka-san, get out of the way, so you too Mafumafu." Shinobu order Giyuu and me.

I hug Kamado's sibling tightly while Giyuu says something that I never thought he gonna say.

   "I am not hated. Mafumafu like me." His words shock me, Tanjirou and Shinobu. What an airhead klutz.

   "Ahhh, that...I'm sorry. So you didn't realize you were hated. Pardon me for saying too much and Mafumafu likes everyone so that can not be counted."

Of course, there is no way Shinobu will stop there.

   "Both of you," Shinobu called us. "You protecting a demon. It's dangerous, so please get off of her."

   "N...! No, well, you're not wrong, but...uhh. This is my little sister. Mine.  That's why-" Tanjirou trying to explain his situation.

   "Well, is that so. What a pity. Okay then..." Shinobu shows her sword while staring at us. "I'll kill her with a sweet poison that won't leave her in pain."

She not giving mercy. I have to buy some time.

   "Can you still move?" Tanjirou looks at me. "Even you can't, will yourself to move. Take Nezuko-chan and run."

Tanjirou shock but understand my motive.

   "I'm sorry! Thank you very much!!" Tanjirou carried Nezuko and run leaving only me, Giyuu, and Shinobu.

   "Isn't this a violation of demon hunter conduct?" Shinobu asks.

   "There was a reason for this Shinobu-chan. Let me explain it." She not waiting for my explanation and run in Tanjirou direction.

   "Sorry Mafumafu but the rules are still the rules. Don't hate me..." She says while run at the tree.

Giyuu follows her back and I follow from below. I can't run as fast as them and only arrived to see Giyuu has stopped her movement and now they bickering with each other. Well, Shinobu is the only one who talks but with Giyuu attitude, anyone can piss off.

   "Minna, let's calm down and listen to what I want to say-" Before I can do that I fell to the ground.

My body is already at its limit. I can hear Shinobu and Giyuu voices calling me and sound like a crow mention the Kamado sibling. And then, everything was dark.
