What in Muspelheim happened last night? The entire day, the girls had randomly said absurd phrases to each other, then burst out laughing.
Inside joke, maybe?
Sadie smirked, then nudged Alex. "Remember the last one?"
Magnus watched as his girlfriend snorted, covering her mouth and trying to hold in the shaking laughter.
"Did... we miss something?" TJ asked, mirroring the confusion the rest of the boys felt.
Piper glanced at them, smiling wickedly. "Incorrect movie summaries. We played 'Stone Face' last night, it ended with Alex and Sophie trading phrases in the hopes of getting the other to laugh."
"Really?" Keefe asked, a grin spreading over his face. "Who won?"
Alex pointed at Sophie. "Her explanation of Nemo was too much, especially since we were describing children's movies."
"Um- Okay then." TJ said.
Suspicion rising Magnus asked, "What was it?"
"A man's wife is brutally murdered by a serial killer and his son is left physically disabled. In a twisted turn of events, his son is kidnapped and he has to chase the kidnapper thousands of miles with the help of a mentally unstable woman."
Magnus couldn't help laughing, and his condition was not helped by the fact that Sophie had been so stony faced when she said it.
Was this what it was like to live in Sophie's head?
