Keefe

Keefe could practically smell the emotions shifting and rearranging. He was just as observant with other relationships as Sophie was blind with theirs.

He had noted how one of the couples' gaze had lingered on the ocean-obsessed demigod, and the Athenian had been looking at some of the girls in Linh's group in a way that was maybe a little more than just curious interest.

Of course, the oblivious must have hung in a thick cloud around the teens, because even though it was so obvious they kept ignoring it.

I mean, for gulon's sake, how can they be so, so dense?

Sophie walked up, following his gaze to where the oblivious four were sitting. The preestablished couple was watching Percy fondly as the demigod carefully sanded his slingshot.

Annabeth, on the other hand, was watching Grove Two as they danced down the path towards their next activity. Her eyes seemed extremely drawn to a girl with bright yellow hair and large glasses.

Oh my gods, they are so oblivious.

Yup. Oblivious gays, all four.

Keefe, I'm pretty sure Percy and Annabeth are at the very least Bi, maybe Pan or Omni, Demi is a possibility too.

But if a girl only likes girls, it's called Lesbian, and I just realized you knew that- now I'm rambling.

Sophie's voice sputtered in his head before withdrawing, and Keefe let out a triumphant smirk at the flustered look on his girlfriend's face.

Sophie felt like her brain was short-circuiting even after they had eaten dinner, replaying the moment on loop.

Shaking it off, she saw that Annabeth and her were somewhat alone, to the point where she could talk to the other girl without being overheard.

"Hey Annabeth."

"Sophie?"

"I wanted to talk to you. Don't worry, it's nothing bad."

"What... what is it?"

"Do you want to take this to a mental conversation?"

Hesitantly, Annabeth nodded. Sophie opened a link, and realized that Annabeth's mind was racing like crazy.

Is someone in danger? Did Gisela escape AGAIN?

No, no. Everything's fine. I just noticed that you seemed a bit conflicted, so I was going to see if I could help you figure it out.

Oh. Um....

Annabeth, you can say whatever you want. This is in your mind, so nobody but me will hear. You know I can keep secrets, and I've definitely gone through a questioning before. Actually, I'm pan.

Okay. So, I did love Percy, he still has a place in my heart and all that, but recently it's been feeling more platonic.

I also feel like Percy's heart is too big for just one person, and on top of that I keep staring at girls and I don't know what's going on?

Let's go over it, then. I don't think you're lesbian, because you did love Percy. Can you see yourself dating a boy more or a girl more?

Kind of,  maybe, but not as much as with boys and nowhere near like with girls.

That fits Bi pretty well, Annabeth. Chase your heart, and if you feel like you and Percy would be better off as friends then just be polite about breaking up.

Annabeth. Breathe. Percy will probably understand your point of view. You'll still be friends, so he'll still have you and everyone else here, plus the camps.

Even if all of his friends were busy, I'm not sure whether you noticed what with you watching Eilin from Grove Two, but there were a couple of extremely protective simps that were pretty close to stealing your boyfriend.

Annabeth's face turned red at the mention of the girl with vibrant yellow hair, but she asked Really?

Absolutely. I'm pretty sure that as soon as Percy is single they're going to start planning how to sweep him off his feet and into their arms.

Wait. I think I know who it is, and I absolutely ship it. How can I help?

Well, mostly I need you to keep the crazies from ruining this. We're playing with Greek fire a bit here, and if Sadie or Alex tries what worked with Keefe and I on this it will implode.

True. Still, if you need backup, tell me.

Same goes for you if you ever want to confess to a girl you like, for example, oh, maybe Eilin?

So... yes, it will be a poly relationship. Also, I'm planning on setting Annabeth up with an OC so yes, this is completely not a sudden decision that was unplanned until today.
