Lily x Imogen

Lily's POV

I know this may seem unusual but I fight with Imogen a majority of the time so I can talk to her. It might not be the best thing but at least she talks to me. I like her but I don't know how to ask her out. The only people I know who could help me are Darra, Ruksy, and Kyra. Darra, because he knows Imogen a lot more than anyone else, Ruksy because she is very smart and good with things like this, and Kyra because she knows how to impress people. I'm not ready to tell anyone else though. Especially not Imogen. I'm afraid to tell Imogen for various reasons.

"Hi Kyra, Darra, Ruksy. Can I talk to all of you in private?" I asked nervously when I walked up to them. They all said sure. When we got to somewhere private without Imogen, Ruksy asked me a question before I could say anything. "Is everything okay Lily?" she asked, voice filled with concern. "Yeah. I just needed some help with something." I said quietly. "What is it?" Kyra asked curiously. "I like Imogen and I don't know how to ask her out. Can all of you help me find out a way for me to ask her out?" I asked nervously, wondering what they'll say. So many bad thoughts in my mind. Silence filled the room. Kyra, Darra, and Ruksy were just staring at me like they were shocked and started soaking in the news I just gave them. After a few more minutes of silence, I turned around about to walk away until Darra said, "Sure. We can help you. We just didn't expect you to like someone like Imogen." After he said that, I turned back around to look at them smiling. "Thank you so much. So, how am I going to ask her out, " I said happily. They gave me some great advice. Ruksy told me to be honest about how I feel and show that I love Imogen in different ways. Kyra told me about grand gestures and impressing Imogen in big ways. Darra told me what Imogen likes and what she doesn't like and things that I should get her to show my love for her. It was very great advice which I will use because they helped me. The hard part is doing those things. I have no idea how I'll do them. Mostly because I'm nervous and because Imogen isn't the nicest person. I'm not sure how she'll react and what she'll think.

*Time Skip*

Imogen's POV

A few days after whatever Lily talked to Darra, Kyra, and Ruksy about, she's been very nice to me. Nicer than she usually is. She's brought me flowers and food. It's nice but I'm not sure why she's doing it. I appreciate what she's doing though because I have these feelings for her. Good feelings that I've never felt before. It's strange and unusual but nice and warm. It's so confusing. Since she started doing that, I started returning the favor. I would bring her things like flowers and cards. That is when things started getting very confusing. She started talking to Kyra, Darra, and Ruksy a lot more. Soon, I started talking to them. Then, they started telling me that they were giving Lily advice about how to ask me out. That was shocking. I never thought that Lily would like me like that. The next card that I'm going to give Lily will say "I love you" on the inside of it. I was looking inside the library trying to find Lily and then I did.

"Hi, Imogen, " Lily said looking nervous. "Hi, Lily. What are you doing?" I asked her curiously. "I was looking for you. What are you doing here?" she said copying my question. "I was also looking for you," I said trying not to smile. I gave her the card and then she gave me a card. It said the same thing that my card said. After we read them, we hugged each other.  "I love you a lot Lily, and I've been in love with you for a while. So, maybe later, we can go on a date. Unless you don't want to though. It's fine if you don't want to -" I was going to continue talking but Lily put her lips onto mine. I started to lean into the kiss. We kissed for a few more seconds until Ruksy saw us. "I am so sorry. You guys continue I'll just go somewhere else. I'm very sorry." she said quickly. Lily and I started laughing because of Ruksy. Eventually, our laughter died down and the room was filled with silence. It was a comfortable silence though. After a few minutes of silence, Lily started talking. "We can go on a date later. I would like it. Especially if it's with you." I couldn't help but smile because of what Lily said. It was nice. "Really? Ok. We should start getting ready then since we'll have our date soon. I guess I'll see you later on our date." I said excitedly. "Yeah. I'll see you later on our date but where are we going to have our date at?" Lily asked laughing a little. Probably because of how excited I am. She looks cute when she's happy. I love her.
