A week has passed since my run in with Carlo at the mall. I made it my mission to avoid him at school, his different. His changed from the kid I knew growing up. When I looked at his direction at school he would smirk at me and look at my brothers as if he knew something I didn't.

In my sleep I could feel someone shaking me. I turned my body awake hoping that the person would get the message but they were persistent and kept shaking me.

"What!" I yelled turning to face the person who interrupted my sleep. I let a scream when I am face to face with Lina.

"Hi." She waved with a smile.

I pulled her into a hug absolutely happy to see her. "How are you here?"

"Your brothers brought me." With a sigh she layed onto the bed.

Joining her I smiled. "I'm half your here."

"Me too." She looked at the ceiling. "While you were asleep I took a tour of the house and I must say. Damn girl, your living large."

I let out a small laugh. "You can say that."

"But I gotta ask. What's with the hot load of guards?"

"I don't know." I shrugged. "All I was told was it was for protection."

"Mmm. Why don't you take a bath and then we do some Yoga. 'Cause I know for a fact that your lazy ass hasn't done any type of exercise."

Laughing I leap out of bed to the bathroom.

"Hey Lina?!"

"What?!" She shouted

"Take out my yoga clothes!"

"Excuse you."

"Please!"

"That's more like it bitch!"

Rolling my eyes I step into the shower.

I walking out the shower I see Lina wearing my blue sports bra written angle and blue sweat pants. The clothes I use for yoga.

"You know that's what I was going to wear right?"

"I know but it looks cute plus you can wear your other white one." She shrugged

Rolling my eyes I put on my white sports bra and sweats pants. Grabbing our yoga mats we head downstairs to the gym. Walking inside we ran into Matt wh I kept staring at Lina.

"You know what song would go best with this?" Lina asked

I shrugged

"Let your body do the Yoga!!"

I laughed that's was Lina favourite song. She didn't even care that it's kinda old news she loved it.

The the time the song started we were in formation we stood with one let and our hands in the air. The next formation was for us to sit down and place one of our legs behind our neck stretching it.

By the time we were done there was not a part of my body that hadn't been stretched.

"Damn." We both turn around to see Matt looking at us with a shocked expression. We both let out a laugh.

"So what are we doing for your birthday?" Lina asked me

I looked at her confused for a moment. "Shit, my birthday is in a week."

"You forgot?" Lina looked at me weirdly. "You never forget your birthday."

"Let's throw a huge party." I suggest

"The plans have already been placed. All you need to do is find a dress. The entire family will be here to meet you." Alfonso said

"Dad too?" I asked. The temperature on the room changed when I asked that A glared at me as though I guts swore him.

"His dead." Matt said bluntly before walking away

I felt the air leave my body. His dead. Why hadn't they told me. I had been holding onto the hope of seeing him all this time but his not even alive. I felt a hand on mine. It was Lina.
