:: yes, part of his backstory. I actually don't know what I'm doing—
Mentions of death (in war and from murder, as well as just in general). Yeah.
This is my interpretation of Raimonds, so this'll probably be different than others'. Just a heads up.Raimonds' parents are dead, and he genuinely thinks they abandoned him. So he practically hates them, since he thinks they left him in the hands of Viktor, someone he despises more than life itself.
But, in reality, his dad died at war and his mother was killed; the murderer left her body and baby Raimonds somewhere out near a forest, to hide the evidence (which was poorly done in a rush, mind you) and get rid of the survivor.
Viktor, who originally went to Latvia for business reasons, was stranded out in the middle of a storm. Then he heard and found baby Raimonds wailing and sobbing because his mother wouldn't get up, and because he was freezing and hungry. And since I don't think Viktor would be the type to leave a kid to die out in the middle of a snowstorm, he takes him home with him.
The others get curious, but nonetheless agree to help take care of him. And of course he doesn't have memories from when he was a baby, so he doesn't know what happened - he made up a story in his head where he was left on Viktor's doorstep, wrapped in a blanket with a note or something. He truly doesn't know, but this is the best he can come up with, and nobody, not even Viktor, has tried to tell him the truth. They figure it would only push him over the edge, or something on those lines.
