Chapter 13

I wake up and smell some doughnuts.

I stand up and stretch and walk out and see Hans putting a plate of doughnuts on the table.

I sit down and take one and turn to him.

"How are you feeling about the whole. Dwarf thing?"

"Its awful Y/n. I couldn't sleep at all."

"Why not? When no one is looking at you, you turn back to normal?"

"I guess I was upset"

I pick him up and sit him on the table.

"Talk to me child"

He roles his eyes and I chuckle.

"I was just upset because. Well we cant fight like this. Meaning that. Has the fearless 8. Ended?"

"What? No Hans of course not. Think of this as a Uh. Break. Until we fix it. Fearless 8 will never die. Even when your all green and short"

"Okay. Thanks Y/n. Enjoy the doughnuts"

I help him off the table and he runs away.

"Well, well" I turn and see Merlin leaning on the door frame crossing his arms. "I guess Elfie is now. Therapist L/n"

"Whatever shortie. You doing okay about this?"

"Obviously not! My handsome face is gone! You cant see it anymore!"

I put the back of my hand on my forehead and lean back a little dramatically.

"Oh the heartbreak"

We laugh.

He sits next to me and takes a doughnut. Then Kio,Niko and Pino run in.

"You guys surviving?"

They turn to me and look at each other. Then look back and smile and nod.

Merlin roles his eyes.

I chuckle.

"Made any new inventions yet?"

"Nope!" Niko says.
"Working on a new one though" Pino adds.
"Its going to be amazing" Kio carrys on and they all run away.

"See them lot are having fun. Why dont you loosen up a little eh? I mean it is punishment. You might as well make the most out of it."

"How can I make the most out of looking like an ogre!? Elfie you arent my mum. Stop trying to make this whole situation good. Because it's not. I'm ugly and disgusting."

"That's not true" he scoffs.

"What would you know? Look at you! Your a freak!"

My eyes widened. His eyes also widened and he covered his mouth.

"Wait Elfie I didnt mean it like that"

I role my eyes and stand up and walk away.

"Eflie wait!" He walks after me. "You know I didn't mean it like that! I'm just annoyed." He stands in front of me and I look down at him. "Talk to me"

"I did" I walk over him and go to my room and slam my door.
