Chapter 4

Later on that day it was time for dinner.

A butler gently took my hand and I looked up at them. Then I looked at there card and it was a jester.

"Whoah a jester. That's pretty cool. What's your name?"

They look down at me.

"Name?"

"Yeah your name?"

"Oh us butlers dont have names. We are called what are cards are."

"But that's so boringgg. You know what. Imma call you.....uh. what's your gender?"

"Dont have one"

"Oh fancy. Your name is... Bonnie"

They look down at me and nod.

"Yay! Glad to have this conversation Bonnie"

We go to the dining room and Merlin looks at me and waves.

"Y/N COME SIT NEXT TO ME!!"

I look up at Bonnie and they nod and I grin and sit next to Merlin.

"Hello again Merlin"

"Hiya.  We have the best food today. ITS SAUSAGES AND MASH!!"

I smile and the butlers give us our food and we start eating.

"Y/n where are you from?" Merlin asks.

"The fairy Kindom. Why?"

"Whoah really?! How did you get here?" I look at the Queen and then back at him.

"Magic pew pew"

"Awesome! I'm learning magic to. Look" he pulls out a card but then blue lightning stuff comes out of it and goes up his arm and he gets electrocuted and falls to the floor. I look down at him.

"Are you okay?"

He coughs and looks at me and gasps.

"IS MY HAIR OKAY?! OR WHAT ABOUT MY GORGEOUS FACE?!"

I stare at him blanked face and chuckle and he sits back down.

"There fine"

"Ahem" we turn to the queen. "No magic at the table Merlin. You know this"

"Sorry Queenie. Anyway Y/n wanna see my room after this?"

"Merlin you know after dinner its story then bed"

"But Queenniieee"

"No exceptions"

He groans.

"BUT KIO, NOKI AND PINO GET TO VISIT EACHOTHES ROOM!!"

"DONT YELL AT ME MERLIN! AND YOU KNOW THERE ALLOWED BECAUSE THERE SIBLINGS! NOW I DONT WANT TO CARRY ON THIS CONVERSATION! EVER! OR YOUR GOING IN THE COAL BIN!" She shouts.

"Merlin just leave it okay. Your causing a scene" a boy with ginger curly hair says.

"Shut up Hans!" A blonde boy shouts.

Everyone immediately goes quiet and I turn to Merlin who has tears in his eyes.

Then he starts running away.

"MERLIN WAIT!!" I yell. I grab his dinner plate and cutlery and chase after him.

He goes into a room and slams the door in my face.

"Merlin?"

"Go away Elfie"

"Elfie?.... Anyway. Let me in. I brought your dinner. Like you said it is your favourite."

I hear some sniffing and I gently and quietly open the door and see Merlin in his bed, with his knees in his chest.

"Aw Merlin. It's okay."

"No it's not! They all hate me."

I put his dinner on the floor gently and sit next to him.

"They dont hate you."

He sniffs and leans on my shoulder.

I gently rub his back while slightly cuddling him.

"You sure?"

"Would I ever lie to you?"

"I mean I dont know. We've only met today"

We chuckle.

"I wouldn't ever lie okay?"

He nods and hugs me.

A few minutes later we pull away and I jump out of his bed and pick up his dinner and hold it out.

"Enjoy your dinner. I'll see you tomorrow okay?"

He nods and smiles and I wave goodbye and walk out.
