Amaya Sharma

Dinner ended at around 11pm, Harry leaving as soon as he was given the chance to scurry out. I'm not going to lie, it was quite awkward having to hug him, but my father did not give me much of a choice.

I was rather surprised at how much Harry enjoyed the food. He even asked my father if he could take some home. Of course, my father said yes with no hesitation, making me go pack up some of it so Harry can bring it back to his apartment.

Once the dining room was cleared and the dishes were cleaned, I made my way up to my bedroom so I could get ready for bed.

I wanted to cry when I realized I was still wearing makeup. I was too tired to take it off but did so anyways because I literally can never go to sleep with makeup still on my face.

After I took my makeup off, washed my face, and brushed my teeth, I changed into my pjs; feeling much more comfortable since I was in my dress for hours.

I got the sudden urge to do a face mask because I wanted my face to look all fresh and revitalized for tomorrow.

Once I applied the clay mask to my face, I turned on my TV so I could watch New Girl. I turned on my LED lights and put it on the color blue, allowing a calming atmosphere to be present in my room.

Once the timer goes off on my phone, I make my way back to the bathroom so I can wash the sea mineral mask off my face.

I look in the mirror to see my face looking all glowy and smooth. I quickly moisturized my face and decided to call it a night since I was getting really tired from this long hectic day.

Although I was tired, it was still a bit hard for me to go to sleep since I knew this would be my last night sleeping in this bed.

The fears and worries that were circling my mind made me feel so anxious but ended up exhausting me, because before I knew it I was deeply asleep.

"Amaya!!!" I hear a loud obnoxious voice calling my name.

I slowly open my eyes to see a very excited Divya sitting next to me on my bed, strongly shaking me awake.

"Five more minutes." I groan out.

"No. You're getting married today Amaya! C'mon,
let's go, up up up!!!"

And just like that, the worries I had for today and the rest of my life came flooding back. I was now wide awake, I looked at my phone to check the time, 8:02.

The wedding is at 11, but I need two hours to get ready. I'm getting my makeup and hair done by professionals so I need to leave my house within the next twenty minutes.

I make my way to the bathroom so I can take a shower and brush my teeth. Once I finished, I walked over to my closet so I could pack my mom's sari since I'm wearing it for the wedding.

I headed downstairs to see Divya in the kitchen. She was making breakfast and to my surprise she cooked some for me.

"Div cooking for me?!" I act in total shock at her generous act since it rarely happens.

"Only since it's the last one you'll be eating here." She makes clear.

"Aw, what did I do to deserve you." I say sarcastically.

"I'm the best aren't I." She replies in a similar manner.

I roll my eyes playfully but I started to get quite sad because it all started to hit me, this is my last breakfast with Divya. I mean, I'm sure my father will still invite me over, with Harry of course, but it won't be the same since I'm no longer living here, and it's definitely not going to happen often.
