"Bitch.... You're lonely."

"Huh?"
You snapped back to reality and whipped your head to the person who said that. It was Cass, who sat next to you by the table.
It was lunch, and you had lazily been biting on an empty fork while you daydreamed of Cordelia. Easy accident.

"I am not," you huffed as you finally processed her words into your slow brain.
"Dude, you doze off literally— anytime. You would start dreaming away even if you stood by a volcano."
"Shut up, Cass..." you murmured with embarrassment, before taking a bite from your food.

"..Is there anyone is particular..?" she tried.
"What? No! There are no guys here anyway."
"Who said i was talking about men?"

You met her gaze again. She had shifted a little so her upper body was directed towards you.
You swallowed hard. She knows.
But you couldn't tell her that you had a crush on the supreme. Not now, atleast.

"How did you..."
"I know a queer when i see one," she winked.
Your cheeks reddened. Damn, you really do suck at hiding things.

Cordelia lifted her brows when she heard your conversation, though she focused her eyes on her food. She was by the end of the long table, while you were somewhere in the middle, so you had some distance. There were some witches who chatted, but she decided to listen to you with her keen ears.
You, of course, did not notice her as you were busy talking with Cass.

"So is there anyone special or not?" she asked again after a moment, with food in her mouth.
"..No," you said again. You were lying, and you knew she knew by the way she arched a brow questioningly. She was giving you the 'really, bitch?' look.

"Well if there's not someone special, why don't we make you a Tinder account? You.. could do with some romantic partner in your life," she answered in a judgemental way.

You stopped chewing to consider it. That may actually be a good idea, you thought. I could move on from my Cordelia-dreams, that will never come true anyway, and start a nice and happy relationship!

You nodded.
"Sure, why not."

When you finished your meals, Cass and you decided to go into her room. Her room was a bit messy, with a lot of KISS posters on her walls. By a corner stood a black bass guitar. Her curtains, bed sheets and carpet were also black. You wondered if her favourite colour was perhaps black?

"Okay hand me over your phone."

"..I actually don't have one.."
"Eh?? Who doesn't have a phone-"
"Maybe because my brother and i were on the run?" you interrupted. "Makes sense, since cops can track your phone."
Cass went silent.
"Oh yeah.. Almost forgot about that part- ANYWAY! You can use my laptop instead."
"Really? That's so kind of you!"
She smirked and gave you a casual shrug; meaning 'No prob'.

You walked to her desk, while also being catious to not step on her clothes spread out on the floor.
Cass opened her laptop.
"Oh and sorry for the mess..." she murmured as she turned it on. It didn't feel like she cared that much though.
"Oh it's fine," you smiled.

You watched her click on Tinder's website and clicked 'Sign in'.
"Should we use your real name or..."
"Just Sandy is fine."
"Gotcha," she said with a thumbs up before typing it in.

It took some minutes to actually get started on the website. She teached you how to use Tinder and you let her take care of everything. Bio, preferences etc.
But finally, you could start swiping. There were some really pretty girls, so you just swiped right on everyone. But deep down you knew that none of them could meet one the of the many great qualities of Cordelia. You were 100% sure that they would never be able to comfort you like Cordelia could. Everything about Cordelia was perfect.

"Alright, well when you're done you can bring my laptop with you," Cass said.
"Really? But won't you need it?"
"Nah, that thing has been gathering dust. I don't use it that much. You can have it for now."
"Thank you so much Cass!" you grinned widely as you gave her a big hug.
"Yeah.. No problem," she said while patting your arm awkwardly. You sensed that she wasn't much of a hugger. But as her friend, you were determined to annoy her by giving her hugs from now on.

"Okay you can let me go. I need to do homework."
"Oo homework? Is it magic related?" you questioned as you let go.
"Yeah uh i was supposed to do it yesterday but.."
"I see. What are you supposed to do though?"
Cass turned to the desk and grabbed some papers and scissors. She read the papers and heaved a sigh.
"Uhhh so basically i'm supposed to cut a flower and then make it grow again."
You raised your brows in fascination and went beside her to see the papers.
"Chlorokinesis, huh? What's that?"
"I just explained it to you, now shut up so i can concentrate."

You shut your mouth and went to sit on the chair by her desk. Cass walked up to a cabinet where a planted flower stood peacefully. She reread the instructions just to make sure she was going to do it right. After that she cut the petals off with the scissors. Then, she fixated her eyes on the plant before closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. Not long after that you saw a new sepal grow.
You opened your mouth in a silent gasp, careful not to distract the black-haired witch.
The sepal kept growing until it finally opened up to reveal new petals. The petals spread apart to finish up the look of a beautiful flower.

Cass opened her eyes and gave a curt nod to the flower, as if she was saying 'thanks for your cooperation'. She took a pen from her pocket and wrote down something on the papers. Finally, when she was done, she turned to you who were smiling cheekily.
"That was AWESOME!" you exclaimed.
"Shshsh, quiet. There are others who live here!" she laughed while putting the pen back in her pocket. "But thank you."
"No but seriously! You didn't even break a sweat! God, magic is so cool."
She chuckled and wiped away fake dust from her shoulders.

"Okay whatever, have you matched with anyone yet?"
Oh! I almost forgot about the Tinder thing. You turned around in the chair and checked the computer.
"No, not yet. But that is to be expected. I'll wait until tomorrow to check again."
She nodded.

"Thank you so much for everything. But i think i'll go to Cordelia's room now-" you started as you took the laptop to leave her room.
"Hold up, hold up-" she interrupted while holding up her hand in a stop motion.
"Did you just say... Cordelia's room?"
You could feel your cheecks turn red again.
"Y-Yeah um- s-she told me that uh.. That i could sleep with he- I MEAN— sleep in her room. Because uh, y'know, i needed a real room to store my stuff and all," you stuttered.
Cass crossed her arms and smiled suspiciously.

"Maybe you don't need Tinder..."
