--Melody's POV--
And just like that I was taken from my home, my family, friends, and Darren. I hated that I was crying, but honestly I couldn't find the strength to remain stoic. I was a mess.
For all I knew Darren could be dead and it's all because of this punk knight. Noble my ass. I had to get back somehow. I don't belong in a castle. How can I be expected to be a queen when I can't even remember what day it is? All I know is if I'm the ruler, this whole kingdoms screwed.
After traveling throughout the whole night, without a wink of sleep thanks to the horribly bumpy roads, we finally arrived at the palace.
He untied me and led me inside. When I finally reached the throne room I was greeted by a delighted king.
"Samuel my boy! Wonderful job!" The king exclaimed with glee before turning to me. "And you my dear, you are quite beautiful, I can see why Xander liked you," he says winking. I stop myself from rolling my eyes. "Marie!" He called.
"Yes your majesty," a meek voice answered.
"Get this girl washed up," he bellowed. "I want to surprise Xander."
"Yes my king," a small redhead steps out from the corner of the room, head slightly bowed. She approached me, took my hand and led me out of the room as if I were a small child.
Once we were out of the earshot of the king I began to beg.
"Please Marie, you have to let me go. Please! My boyfriend, he-- he might be dead and my parents will be worried and all of my friends from back home, and I really don't want to be here you have to let me go!" I was growing more panicked with each passing second. I was about to start pleading once more when I heard a voice that left me frozen in my spot.
"Melody?"
