Danielle's POV:
Running. Running and running as fast as me and my brothers could. We got into a fight and now all we can do is run across the rooftops of San Francisco. Yeah that's right I have two brothers. Rukai and Dinoton. We all had swords to protect ourselfs sense we were orphans and we fought pretty good.
We finally stopped running as me and the boys were out of breath they were older than me but I had all the power.
Dinoton was a demon with claws and fangs and Rukai had fire powers but me I have the power to fly and ice and snow and I can do what I like whenever I please.
"So.. what do we... do.. now?" Rukai asked gasping for air. We've been running for at least an hour I guess "We have to leave town, get enough money to get on a train and leave" I said "Dani how are we gonna get money if all of town is looking for us?" Dinoton asked
I pased for a second then there was only one thing left to do "We steal" I say they both looked at me shocked "Dani are you crazy! we would get in trouble!"
"Not if we don't get caught" I said "It's the only way we would be able to get out of here back to berk, I know a friend there who can help us... guys.. you have to trust me" they just stood there. I know it's the wrong thing it's just that we have to get out of here.
I then heard voices from an alley nearby and I slowly walked towards them. I looked down to see a boy down there and fighting off guards with a sword.. he looked about my age.
"It's a boy.. and he's fighting guards" I whispered to my brothers and they came over and kneed down next to me.
"We have to go they might get us if we go down there" Rukai said
"Come on guys where's your sense of adventure" I say and jump down of corse they both stood there like asses like always while I did all the work.
I got the rest of the guards while that boy wasn't looking he stared at me like he's never seen a girl before. Typical
"What? never seen a girl with a sword before?" i said putting my sword back on my back "N-no I've seen one... just that I've never seen one fight like that before" he said, he had brown hair and icy blue eyes and had glasses on.
"Well nice to meet you too" I said walking off but he grabbed my arm and turned me around so I was looking at him "Hey don't be rude" he said I rolled my eyes "So you gonna tell me your name, sword girl"
"Why do you need to know?" i said
"I just wanna know so I can say thanks"
"I saved your skin no need to thank me" he looked at me "I can see your hard to get" he said. Then there was silence for a couple seconds
"My names dani" I said
"I'm Cody" he smiled at me I felt heat rise up into my cheeks Am I blushing?! no can't be must be cause of all the fighting. "So.. where you from?" he asked me "Does it matter?" he chuckled "Well if your a pretty girl I wanna know some things about you" he said. Again I felt heat in my cheeks again, this is weird I'm NEVER warm.... unless Rukai shoots fire at me or something.
He looked at me and smiled "You ok?" he asked "Yeah why do you ask?"
"Your blushing" he said. Woah woah I never! blush!.. I think
"No I'm not" I say and he chuckled "Yes you are I can see it in your cheeks" he stroked it and I giggled and felt more heat rise "Awww see you are" he said. I never thought I would giggle like a little girl before but I did it shocked me, you see I'm mostly a tuff girl and let no one get to me and I try not to cry. I made that promise when my parents died I had to be strong.
"I don't blush and you can't make me" I said and walked off into the streets and he followed me "Oh really?" He smirked is he trying to make me blush or whatever it is?
"Yep what you gonna do about it pretty boy" ((A/N: that nickname lol)) I said he kissed my cheek, I felt more heat and I couldn't hold it in "Awwww you are blushing snowflake" he said I giggled and blushed more. I never knew I had a soft side I always thought I would be that tuff and strong girl like always.
"Stop it Cody.." I said he chuckled and said "No you look adorable" I giggled again he laughed. WTF AM I DOING IM NOT A CHILD ANYMORE
"Well... I Uh... have to go..." I said he looked sad "See you tomorrow?" he asked while I started walking off I looked at him and smiled "Yeah... tomorrow.." I ran back up to the roof where my brothers were they looked at me.
"What?" I asked them they just looked at me like they never seen me that way sense I never act like a little girl anymore "Pft come on guys lets go" i said and started walking they looked at each other and followed me.
"What happened down there?" Rukai asked "Nothing... just making a new friend" I said.
A/N: Soooo..... I came up with this idea on the bus and yeah... what do you guys think?
