Basically speeding up the process makes him over-exaggerate certain emotions.
The same thing happens when Henry's thieving process is sped up, Henry can't process previous information learned about the process and ends up going heist after heist without mental growth.
Which is why the sped up process of Henry's emotion systems were deleted and were replace with the learning of human behavior. Through this Henry will slowly start to feel.
