A handful of people from the server still didn't believe him, even though Nightmare made a blatant appearance right in front of all of them.
He knew he couldn't trust everyone with this information, yet it was forced out of him.
The whole SMP had been surrounding a table, talking about what to do to Dream.
One half wanted him out of the prison, while the other the opposite. They had believed Dream wasn't Dream at that moment, while the other still believed he was just being manipulative.
Dream had known in his gut it would be held against him, not wanting to believe it though. He had been taught not to trust things or people as they would be used against him, and he would be brought down, made weaker.
"He can't be trusted!" Tommy argued." He manipulated all of us yet you still have faith in him..."
"Have you not see what that prison did to him Tommy!" George yelled." Dream was tortured, the man who was supposed to protect the prisoner let some man we call our friend in to torture him, make him inhuman."
Sapnap looked at Quackity, he too could not believe he would do such thing. He wasn't sure who to trust anymore.
Tommy was speechless, he couldn't figure out what to say, George's mini speech knocking a bit of realization into him.
"Tommy you are not actually starting to believe them, are you?" Quackity asked." I mean we have no proof of me actually doing what you are saying"
" Have you not looked at Dream, he can't keep eye contact, he limps everywhere, blood was all over him when he escaped, his body was covered in bruises. And all Quackity did was smile..." George sneered.
Sapnap looked over at him, hurt laced his eyes. His own love hurting the man he grew up with. Making him into whatever he turned into after the prison.
Quackity had nothing else to say keeping his mouth shut just like Tommy's was.
Dream didn't want to do this.. He wanted to stay, he really did, but the Dreamon made it hard on him. The server didn't want him anymore, so his only liable reason was to leave. Not just leave the land, leave the server.
His feet were over the ledge. He could feel the breeze run through his hair.
Before he knew it, he stepped. He felt nothing under neath his feet and he started falling..
Smiling to himself, knowing he did the right thing.. Knowing he couldn't have his happy ending, but other people could have theirs..
He realized something today..
Trust is an awful broken thing. Yet it can be so strong...
But sadly, Dream was not strong enough..
Dream fell from a high place.
