8.I'm Trying

TW: Self harm

"i'm.. I'm trying, I really am.." Dream pleaded as tears flowed down his face,his mask blocking it.

"Maybe you aren't trying hard enough." Techno said as he turned around and walked off.

Dream started full on sobbing, he really was trying, he was trying so hard. Why did no one get that? He tries so hard to make things perfect, to make people smile, and they go and stab him in the back. They call him the villain of the perfect story.

He cried knowing it could never be normal with him in it. He hadn't tried for years, Techno the only person keeping him sane enough not to try. Now with Techno gone, he didn't know what to do anymore.

He ran to his bathroom and found his secret stash of blades. He had to keep these just in case. Techno had taken all his other ones. He took one and slashed his wrists, trying to keep calm as he shaked.

The blood seeping into his clothes and tile of his bathroom. He sobbed some more as his world slowly went black.

Techno had run out of the house, he shouldn't have done that. No, he shouldn't been feeling guilty, Dream should be. 

He ran to Phil's house, knocking on the door as he was welcomed by the sweet man.

Techno had told him the story. The start to finish, but he remembered something. Dream had tried to commit awhile ago, but hadn't tried in awhile.

The awful thought of him on the bathroom floor bleeding out flooded his mind. He needed to visit him just to make sure. 

He asked Phil if he would come with and he agreed. They had arrived at Dream's house as Techno ran in, finding the bathroom.

He barged in to find Dream, he wasn't unconscious, but looked as if he was about to faint. He called Phil in and got him to call 911.

Dream whimpered as his arms were being wrapped with cloth, trying to push Techno and Phil away.

"Dream please stop." Techno pleaded.

"I don't deserve this though.." Dream whispered out.

Dream continued to fight, but stopped when Techno pulled him into his chest. Crying, he put his head into his shoulder.

"I'm Sorry," Dream cried out.

"Its okay, Dream.." Techno whispered to him.

"Techno?" Dream asked

"Hmm."

"I really am trying.." Dream said as he passed out.
