Chapter 4

-JJ's POV-

I don't know if I always felt like this. It just hit me. My love for him is so strong.

He invited me for breakfast. I started putting my clothes on. I did my makeup. I fixed my hair. I tried the best to look pretty. I don't want him thinking I'm just a girl who doesn't care for her appearance. Moments later I hear my phone ring. It's him.

"Hey Spence!" I said.

"Hey, still up for breakfast?" He asked.

"Yup I'm all ready to go."

"Ok we're going to the café across the street from my apartment."

"Ok be there in 5 minutes."

"Bye."

"Bye."

-Spencer's POV-

"Bye."

I'm here waiting at the café. I can't believe I'm dating JJ. I never thought I'll find someone else after with what happened with Maeve. This coming to thought I started crying slightly.

-JJs POV-

I pull up in the café parking lot. I got out of my car and I see Spence sitting on a table. It looks like he's crying. I start to walk up to him.

"Hey Spence, what's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"It's got to be something, is it Maeve?"

".....Yes."

"Ok...look, I know it's hard but you got to get ahold of yourself and get over her."

"I just never got to say goodbye."

"It's going to be okay, let's just eat some breakfast."

We just sit here in silence for a while. A couple minutes later our waiter comes.

"Can I start you off with some drinks today?" The waiter asks.

"Two coffees please."

"Coming right up!" The waiter says right before he heads inside.

"We should start looking at what we want to eat."

We both pick up our menus and start looking for what to eat. I already see what I want to eat. French toast, mmmmm.

"I'm going to get some French toast, what about you?" I ask.

"I'm going to get some scrambled eggs, bacon and some sausage."

"That sounds delicious."

"It is."

We both laugh. We set down our menus and a little while after our waiter comes with the drinks.

"Two coffees," the waiter says setting down our drinks.

"Thank you," we both say at the same time.

"We'll like to order now."

"Ok what would you like?"

"I'll have the French toast."

"How many squares would you like?"

"2 please."

"And for you sir?"

"I'll have the scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage."

"That's a great choice, your food will be right up."

"So how's your mom doing?" I ask Spence.

"She's doing good."

"What about your dad? I never heard what happened to your dad."

"He works in an office in Las Vegas, basically trying to get away from his past as much as he can."

"I'm sorry."

"You don't have to be sorry."

"I remember a couple months back when we all went to the pool and Morgan pushed you in and it was in the deep side, that was hilarious."

We started laughing hard.

-Spencer's POV-

Her laugh is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. I wish I could just get over Maeve and be happy with JJ.

We finish eating our food and we head into my car.

"It was fun having breakfast with you Spence."

"You too."

"Have you ever been on a date Spence?"

"I told you Maeve was my first love, so no."

"Oh, we should get to the BAU, and remember we don't tell the team yet."

"Ok."
