Chapter 10

-JJs POV-

I woke up the next morning on the couch with Spence beside me. Wait a second. We haven't been using protection. Uh oh. I got up slowly trying not to wake up Spence. I put in his shirt and it fit absolutely like a dress. I go make breakfast. I look in his pantry. Which is almost empty. The only things that are in there is some oatmeal, cereal, a couple of boxes of ramen noodles, and some spices. No wonder he's so skinny, he barely eats. I go to his refrigerator. At least the refrigerator is fully stocked. There's eggs, bacon, milk, typical refrigerator stuff. I grabbed 4 eggs and some bacon. I started to make some fried eggs and bacon. When I was done I took 2 eggs and put them side by side then I put the bacon right under so it'll make a smiley face. I did the same to mine. Right when I finished he started to wake up. He opened his eyes and looked straight at me.

"What is this?" He asked.

"I made breakfast," I replied.

"Mm yummy, and it even looks like a smiley face, cute," he said as he took a bite of bacon. I grabbed two cups and some OJ and filled both to the top. I started to eat mine. He finished his food in like 1 minute wow.

"That was fast," I commented.

"I'm a fast eater." I haven't even finished a whole egg.

"So we don't have any work today what do you want to do?" I asked.

"Idk maybe we can take a walk," he said.

"Wait before I forget, ummmm, we haven't been using protection at all, what if I'm pregnant?" He looked at me super shocked not sure what to say.

"Ummmm we can take a walk to the pharmacy instead and get a pregnancy test k?" He said.

"Ok."

We went to get ready for our walk. He just put on a t-shirt and some jeans. I put on a tank top with some leggings and my sneakers. I need to tell someone about me and Spence, but who? Oh I can tell Emily she can keep a secret. I can't tell Garcia because then she'll get all hyper and say something. I texted Emily.

"Hey Em can I tell you a secret?"

"Sure"

"Ummm me and Spence are dating but please don't tell anyone it's supposed to be a secret and don't tell Spence I told you please."

"OMFG THATS SO AMAZING I'VE ALWAYS SEEN IT IN YOU GUYS! So when did this start?"

"Like 2 weeks ago."

"Cool."

"And there's something else, I might be pregnant, I'm going to pick up a test right now."

"Do you want a baby?"

"I guess it'll be fun to have a baby with Spence."

"Ok, well goodluck text me when you find out k"

"Ok"

Well we finally arrived at the pharmacy and got what I needed. I also picked up some chips and some water. We went straight home after that. When we got there I went straight to the bathroom and took the test. It was easy instructions. First you pee in a cup so I took a disposable cup so I can throw it out after and peed in it. Then you're supposed to just dip the tip of the test in the cup and leave it there for 5 minutes. If there's 1 line there's no baby and if it shows 2 lines I'm pregnant. I set a timer for 5 minutes and go to where Spence is sitting and sit next to him and grab his hand.

"Did you wash your hands?" He asked."

"Yes hahahahah, ok I'm scared."

"Me too."

"I mean are we ready to have a child? We've only been dating for 2 weeks and now I might be pregnant, what is Hotch and the others going to say?"

"Idk what to say."

"Wow for the first time Spencer Reid doesn't know what to say."

"Sorry, look it's going to be ok, just calm down and hope for the best, if you are pregnant would you be happy or sad?"

"Idk both."

"Same."

"Our lives are going to change forever." I say as I hear a song which must be the timer.

"I can't look." I go anyways and pick up the test. It has 2 lines. I'M PREGNANT. I go outside and tell Spence the news.

"I can't believe we're going to have a baby, you and me," Spence said crying and smiling. He pulled me in for a hug and a kiss. We soon went to bed. I picked up my phone and texted Emily back.

"Hey, so I am pregnant."

"That's great JJ I'm so happy for you two."

"Thanks goodnight."

"Goodnight."

"When should we tell the team?" I asked Spence.

"First thing tomorrow."

"Ok goodnight."

"Goodnight," he said while kissing my lips softly.
