"Have you been taking your medicine?"

I merely nod.

"Have you still been experiencing severe manic episodes?"

I nod again.

"Have you been doing what I have suggested before?"

Once again, I nod.

"Are you sure? You're an idol and cannot afford to be having manic episodes, especially in the public eye".

I had been lying the entire time. I haven't been taking my medication nor have I been following his previous suggestions.

To help prevent my manic episodes, he told me to maintain a stable sleeping pattern, reduce my alcohol intake, maintain a daily routine, try to reduce my stress and keep a note of my moods everyday.

As an idol though, such things don't exist for me.

I haven't told my members either about my disorder. I just can't bring myself to do it.

"I know", I reply to my doctor.

"Bipolar disorder is hard to deal with on your own. Don't you think you should tell your fellow members?"

"No!", I screamed, slamming my hands on the table in between us.

"Okay Namjoon however you can't hide this from them forever", my doctor simply sighed.

He quickly scribbles some notes in his notepad and looks at me.

"I'll prescribe you with stronger medication to see if that helps but that's all I can really do for you. Have you been going to therapy?"

"Yes", I nod.

My agency knows about my disorder and they force me to keep on top of my therapist appointments.

The doctor looks at his watch.

"That's time. I'd like for you to come back next week for another check up if you're available".

Again, I nod.

I stand up, ready to leave the room.

"Remember Namjoon, you're not alone".

I swiftly exit the room with his parting words.
