It was a dark night. The room was dimly lit and crows outside were squawking.
We were all shivering at thinking of who might be the murderer.
It was scary to come closer to this deduction.
"Who do you think did it?", Jimin squeaked.
"I don't know...
"Namjoon hyung, I think you better look at this", Jungkook shouts.
I come into the kitchen and take the phone.
"What in the actual-"
"He knew. Seokjin hyung knew."
I reread the words over in my head. My mind can't comprehend the meaning of them.
The messages sent from the nightmare dude to Seokjin.
'Your role of the game is: Victim'.
If he knew why didn't he tell us anything? Reach out for our help?
Stupid Seokjin. Always trying to protect us and take the brunt of the pain. Why couldn't he let us look out for him once? Why?
I dropped the phone and fell on my knees. My legs felt like jelly.
Ah, someone must be cutting onions because my eyes are watering up.
Jungkook knelt down beside me and broke into tears. I moved over and wrapped my arms around him. He then began to cry into my shoulder.
"Namjoon hyung, why didn't Seokjin hyung just tell us?", he asked amidst his tears. "Because he'll want to die as the reliable hyung who never relied on anybody", I said through my gritted teeth. "If only he could lower his ego for one moment".
"But that was what was best about hyung", Jungkook says into my shoulder. "Yeah, you're right", I sigh.
I wiped away Jungkook's tears and then my sweat from under my eyes. Mhm, totally sweat.
"C'mon Jungkook, we've got a case to be solved", I said lowering my hand for him so he can stand up. He grabbed my hand and stood up.
"For Seokjin hyung", he says with a smile.
"For Seokjin hyung", I agree.

(A/N: This photo inspired me to write this chapter as Jungkook and Namjoon have a special relationship. Jungkook looks up to Namjoon so much and I really adore it. Seokjin is also looking on at them and is smiling which is a thing that I feel like he would do when he passed away in this story. Looking on at the other members and still smiling. Sorry it got a little emotional and deep at the end 😅)
