"Sadqa, come in and say Salam to Haroon," just then the man turns around in his seat. Oh my Allah...

To say he is handsome would be an understatement, He looks divine. I thought he looked good from behind but his face, Astaghfir Allah, is magical. He has big sea blue eyes and long curling lashes, a very beautiful smile and slender nose. Seems more like a Greek God than a human.

"Darling stop staring with your mouth open and say salam,"

As usual, mum pulls me out of my thoughts and embarrasses me into the next century. My face feels like its 100 degrees right now, probably look like a tomato pizza.  Haroon, that's what mum called him, laughs and says "as-salamu alaykum Tamanah, it is a pleasure to meet you," he holds his hand out for me to shake. I slowly walk up to him and shake his hand.

"nice to meet you too."

He smiles at me and stares me right in the eyes.

"Both of you have your breakfast before you get late"

"Sure khala jan" Haroon responds to mum and turns back in his seat. I walked around to the other side and take my seat and slowly start eating my breakfast of eggs and toast with a mug of sheer chai. I was hoping that there would be no more embarrassing moments this morning, however, I have no such luck. I wasn't expecting Haroon to be talking to me for the rest of breakfast, so when he asked me a question it caught me of guard. I started coughing as my sheer chai went don't the wrong pipe. mum quickly started rubbing my back.

"are you ok sweety?"

"I am fine mum, just the sheer chai went down the wrong side"

" I am so sorry Tamanah, I didn't mean to catch you off guard I just wanted to know what you do that's all." I looked up to see he had a really apologetic face on.

"it's ok, it's not your fault," I tried to smile at him. Mum started to laugh once she knew I was ok.

"what is so funny?"

"nothing darling absolutely nothing"

" mum"

"Don't worry sweetie I am just happy this morning"

"if you say so"

Haroon sat staring at us in amazement.

"everything ok?" I asked him

"yes everything is fine, just you two amazed me a bit, the way you talk to each other it is as if your not mother and daughter with years of age gap between you, but two friends of the same age"

"Oi what do you mean years of age gap? I am not that old" mum teased him

"sorry khala I didn't mean that I was just.."

"it's ok I'm teasing you" mum laughed. " Tamanah is all I have in my world, she is my child my friend and sometimes my mother, and have you not heard age is nothing more than just numbers" I smiled up at mum and said

"your a sexy young woman Mrs Ahmadzai," and winked at her. she started laughing at me.

"Besharmi shush and get going or you will be late for school" I smiled and got up,

"ok mummy"

i gave her a kiss on the cheek and took my plate and mug to the sink.

" I have a meeting so I will get going as well khala, My stuff will arrive later in the afternoon but i will be back by then to move them in myself" Haroon started getting up.

" ok son, don't worry I will be home, I have the day off from the hospital today."

move his stuff, why is he moving his stuff here? "Sorry don't mean to be rude but why is he moving his stuff here?"

"oh he will be living with us for a while sadqa"

"oh"

"we can talk about it later, now get going you or you will be late for your morning class"

" ok mum, see you later, bye Haroon" I smiled at both and left them in the kitchen. This is strange mum never has guys stay at our house, especially non-mahrams and I doubt he is a mahram for her or me as I have never met him before. Oh well, I will just have to ask her about it later, trying to think about it is pointless. I got out of the house and in to my car and head to school.
