I started to stir in my place as I heard footsteps approaching. I slowly opened my eyes to see a familiar sight. I laid on the bunk bed of my dream.

"Y/N! Wake up! Your thug friend will be here in 20 minutes!" I heard Jeri sing walking down the hallway.

What the actual fuck. I rose from the mattress and looked over to the wall calendar across from the bed. A week has passed since I first started dreaming of this fantasy.

Okay? Calm down. Just get ready for the day and try to blend in again. Try to look for clues for the plot of this dream and go from there. Maybe if I solve whatever problem there is, I would be able to get out of this weird dream. Dream? Is it even still considered a dream? I started to ponder as I got dressed for my first day of school. Although I learned from the many notes on my wall calendar from Artemis. With her experience of her many concussions from playing soccer, she knows that memory loss is common. I stopped in my tracks, with an imaginary lightbulb over my head.

That's my excuse! I just have to be myself and then say I forgot small events! Yes!

I proudly walked out of my room, fully dressed and started to smell the freshly brewed coffee from Danny's shop downstairs.

"Hey Kiddy, the newbie downstairs is trying his very best so I get to say goodbye." Danny said, rising from our kitchen table. He came closer and embarrassed me into a warm hug. "Have a great day and know your health boundaries." He said giving me that look a mother would give their irresponsible child.

"Yep, I know. It's only a half day so I should be fine!" Danny sighed as our heads turned to hear a knock on the door.

"Well he's early," Jeri mumbled, "again". He crossed his arms as Artemis rose to open the door.

"H-hello! I just wanted to be early so we can take our time walking to school." He said fidgeting with his hands.

"Y/N, have a great day and here's some breakfast for the both of you." She said giving us both two small containers of an egg omelet.

"Thanks! See you all later!" I closed the door and stood next to Asahi.

"Your family is nice, but uh." I looked up at him as we walked down the flight of stairs and past the café beneath my home.

"But? You think that Jericho doesn't like you?" He nodded, his thick eyebrows wove together with worry.

"Believe me, he's like that with everyone."

"Yeah I guess." He sighs, fumbling with the container of food.

"Hey, so I know this isn't exactly proper etiquette but, we can eat these and walk. I would like to take my time, especially because it's sunny."

"Yeah okay." He said, finally being able to open his container. He slid off the fork that was attacked on the top of the lid and began eating. I did the same, enjoying the familiar silence between us. However, I soon noticed that he wasn't walking beside me. I chuckled as I turned around.

"Asahi? With those long legs of yours, I thought you would be ahead of me by now." I said looking behind me. However, he wasn't there.

What the hell? I thought as I looked all around me, a deafening silence surrounded me. The sound of business people waiting in line for their coffee along with the croak of beetles disappeared. The silence hurt. It hurt and it made a tightening in my chest.

"Hello? Please, is anyone there?" I spoke, trying to fill the tight air.

"Yep! Just me and you!" A voice from a small child responded. I turned all around me to see nobody there, even though the voice sounded so close up.

What do I do now?
