(Miya pov)

It's been a couple of years since the group and I have found each other. I had turned 18 last week and the rest of the gang celebrated with me and wished me luck in finding a mate. My exact words to that were, 'I don't need any dumbass alpha trying to tell me that because I'm an omega I can't do anything else other than having pups.' They all immediately refrained and silently agreed with each other to never bring the topic up at least when I'm around. I made my way towards the meeting place, a.k.a Shadow's flower store. They were are standing around looking excited about something. "Hey, what's going on?" I asked when I got closer to them. They looked back at me and Joe spoke up, "Apparently there's this new skater who's beating everyone he races against. He even went against Adam a couple of days ago and won against him too."

My eyes widened, "The fuck are we waiting here for then. Let's get going." With that, we all piled up in Shadow's car except for Cherry and Joe who went in Joe's car. Once we had arrived we saw a giant crowd of people standing around the stage area. We all got out of the car and made our way over. Once we stood at the front we saw a guy wearing a mask. He had (h/l) (h/t) (h/c) hair and his sharp (e/c) eyes were looking around at the crowd. Suddenly we heard a guy scream, "Snow is here. He'll beat you in a race [Fake Name]." The guy stood up and looked in the direction that the guy pointed at which was where we were standing. He walked towards us and when he passed by me I took a whiff of his pheromones and my eyes widened when sudden realization dawned upon me. 'This guy he's my mate' I thought while internally freaking out.

I looked back at the guy to see him standing in front of Langa. He looked him up and down before speaking up, "Care for a race?" Langa looked confused, "What's on the line?" The guy stared at Langa before bursting out into laughter, "I don't skate people to gain something. I do it for fun so no need to worry." Langa looked skeptical but ultimately nodded his head. They got in their position at the starting line. The group and I walked over to Langa before Reki spoke up, "Do you best snow and make sure you have fun." I walked up to Langa and smacked his shoulder, "You better win smurf." With that, we all went down and towards the finish line. We all watched with curiosity in our faces as the race started but Langa went ahead while the guy stayed behind. Just when Langa hit the halfway point the guy seemed to have smirked under his mask before he set his board down. It was as if the Flash and skateboarding came together at that moment.

The guy was standing at the starting line and boom the cameras could no longer find him. It wasn't long till Langa reached where the finish line was but just as he was about to pass it a wave of air hit everyone and there stood the guy who had won against Langa. Everyone was quiet till the guy spoke up, "Damn snow. You got some serious skills. Too bad it's not as good as mine." With that, the guy walked away. Before I could even realize what I was doing I followed after him. When we were away from everyone he stopped walking and spoke up, "Well well if it isn't the adorable omega that caught my eye earlier. You know cutie you have quite the feisty personality." Before I could stop myself I spoke up, "Can you teach me to skate like that?" He turned towards me and pulled down his mask. My eyes widened when I saw his handsome face. "Anything for my adorable mate."

"Babe? Earth to my mate. MIYA!" I flinched and looked over at my alpha of three years. "What?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "I've been calling your name for like five minutes. Lunch is ready. What has gotten you so distracted." I smiled up at him and stood up before placing a kiss on his cheek, "Just thinking about the day I met the greatest alpha of all time." His chest puffed out with pride and he gave me a cheeky grin, "Damn right you did. I love you so much Miya. I don't think you understand how much you mean to me, my adorable omega." I smiled up at him when he pulled me into a hug by my waist, "I love you too, my handsome alpha."
